Linux stable kernels 3.0.39-rc1 and 3.4.7-rc1 are now out for review. After these get out, I can start working on the 3.5-stable releases, so go and test please.
No, to test it you need to download the source and compile it. It will show up in your distro's updates later, like maybe in a few weeks.
This is off topic but does come back to this post in a way. Why are there two stable releases? Please forgive me but this is a new concept to me and I have been wondering about this for a long time.
