It looks like the IT security world has hit a new low.
If you work in security, and think you have some morals, I think you might want to add the tag-line
"No, really, I'm not a whore. Pinky promise"
to your business card. Because I thought the whole industry was corrupt before, but it's getting ridiculous.
At what point will security people admit they have an attention-whoring problem?

+Ambuj Kumar Has Fortanix had any issues with export / import control regulations on cryptology due to the global footprint ?11h
+Ambuj Kumar 'Low' is a reference to the 'Responsible Disclosure Periods' verses 'Developer Timeframe' to remediate the BUG, regardless if its a local / remote security BUG, or any other issue affecting data integrity, performance, interoperability, etc.
The AMD issue was released without any thought.11h
+Mark Lane No, we have had not such issues.10h
+Mark Lane, I understand the AMD reference. However, branding "the whole security industry" in one group is as dishonest as the disclosure in the question.
There are good people and bad people in the industry. Most of people cannot tell good from bad. People with such capabilities bear extra responsibility in illuminating good guys!10h
+Ambuj Kumar Have you under gone common criteria assessment for your solution to be accepted into Government ?
What cypher and bit strength is the runtime encryption solution using ?
It sounds interesting, am assuming its a stream solution from the promos on the website ?10h
+Ambuj Kumar Not necessarily, the good / bad guys argument is about data protection for the majority of the public / industry. Corporate responsibility and respecting user / business / government environments is something every good corporate citizen performs. The AMD issue, looks to be media attention and some reports linked to the intelligence community, but at the end of the day, 24 hours is not responsible disclosure, its boarder line to being black mail and stock manipulation.9h
