I often wish there was a standardized email encoding that would allow me to better organize email. For example, being able to differentiate between coupons or event invitations would be useful. Could there really be more than 50 reasons for any business to email me? #emailmarketing

Attitude is infectious, I really appreciate this article by Micha Solomon which talks about the human aspects of company culture and how our attitudes influence it. What does your company's positive peer pressure represent?

Otto Pizza
289 Harvard St, Brookline, MA 02446
Clean, simple, and rustic decor matching the artisan style pizzas. In addition to having great style and service they manage to skillfully offer gluten-free options. In addition to adding gluten-free crust recently, they also offer hard cider and gluten-free beers.

I appreciate the cheese, sauce, and topping choices. The menu very clearly shows which pies are red vs. white, and it's been my experience that the defaults are the best.

Thus far I've tried their salads, which come well dressed (not too much or too little dressing). I'm the annoying person that usually likes to get it on the side but they knock it out of the park, just trust.

While I can only speak to the gluten-free pizzas I've tried the apple, bacon, red onion (my personal fav) and the sausage onion. Both were fantastic and I have a hard time ordering anything else. I've also gotten delivery from the Mass Ave location and am always pleased.

If you're gluten-free and haven't tried this place yet, get after it!

I love that this approach allows you to re-think travel accommodations, and wonder how the logistics of laundry are tackled. Really cool concept, I'd book a night in one, would you? #greenliving

Exceptional framing with friendly service! Reed helped me find the right matte and frame combination for my prints, a difference that changed the whole look and feel of my apartment. I'm grateful for the wonderful service and impeccable attention to detail that's leveled-up the atmosphere of my place. Creating an ambiance more mature and for once, representative of my taste in art. I'll definitely be back again and again as my collection grows.

Great view if you're drinking on the roof, but the food and cocktails are about as unremarkable as the service. Could have eeked out an extra star if the service was better.

I was a patient of Dr. Emily Chan's when I lived in Boston. I've since moved out of state (as has she) and I've struggled to find a physician who both listened to my health concerns and was a partner in solving the root cause of my health issues like she has. I started seeing Dr. Chan in late 2008 when I was struggling with chronic fatigue and severe seasonal allergies, and continue to be a patient through virtual appointments. By following Dr. Chan's diet, lifestyle, and supplement plans I was able to overcome my health issues. I have her to thank for being able to quit my part-time job napping. I would regularly sleep 4-5 hours before going to bed for the evening and would then wake up exhausted even after 12 or more hours of sleep. She started me on a wheat-free diet, recommended some supplements, and I quickly regained energy. After a bit of experimentation, I realized the need to go completely gluten-free and since making the change I've stopped suffering from severe seasonal allergies. Since 2009 I've lived an active lifestyle, losing nearly 40lbs in the process because I have energy to work out. This past month, I made a follow-up appointment with her because I wasn't feeling myself. One lab test later, my suspicions were confirmed and I'm now on a plan to balance out my deficiencies with supplements and a little bit of self-TLC. Though seeing Dr. Chan, I've come to the conclusion that our traditional idea of healthcare isn't necessarily self-care. She's taught me how to take care of myself without the pesky side effects of traditional medicine. I used to overload on caffeine to stay away when I was always tired, which made me feel more exhausted. I also used to have to take anti-histamines daily (Claritin and Zyrtec) which would make me mentally & physically sluggish. With her help, I'm now free of the chronic fatigue, joint pain, and seasonal allergies. None of the supplements I take now result in negative side effects. Dr. Chan also keeps up with current medical research, I recently shared with her some of my genetic testing from 23andMe that uncovered an issue I have with methylation. Not only did she know all about what it was, why it was an issue, and how to tackle it; she clarified some of the parts of it I didn't quite understand. I'm a nerd and like to know how things work, and she's wonderful at sharing the science behind it. This is a completely different experience than what I had with my primary care physician locally, who referred to the results as "interesting" but dismissed it as a real issue given there was a chance the gene wouldn't express itself. In situations like this, I often free like my physician can't wait to get me out of the office so they can bill my insurance. Dr. Chan is effective in the time allotted but has never made me feel rushed or dismissed like many of my other doctors have. Book an appointment to see Dr. Chan if you want to solve the root causes of your health issues or if you're already healthy and are interested in optimizing your well being. She'll break down the science for you in an approachable way and is patient with your questions and concerns. She has a great energy and is dedicated to helping her patients live healthy and fulfilling lives through healthcare.

Best cheesesteaks in memory! I used to live in NJ and have tried Pat's, Geno's, and a number of others on South Street but this steak takes first place. I tried it on the recommendation from the Ron & Fez "Philly the right way post" and wasn't disappointed. The staff is super friendly and I love the neighborhood small business feel. It's cute inside equipped with a pickle & hot pepper bar and no-frills booth and bar seating. This place isn't the location for your next romantic meal, because you're certain to leave chubbier than you came! Note: I brought my own bread because I'm gluten-free, but everyone else's hoogies looked fantastic. *drool*

Amazing comfort food & awesome service. So good I couldn't stop to take a photo and I cleaned my plate. The owner is super helpful if you have food allergies or preferences. There are quite a few gluten-free and vegetarian options. My waist-line is in trouble because this spot is definitely going to be in the rotation. It doesn't get better than slow cooked BBQ made with love.

This cafe is best known, in my mind, for it's coffee and tea selections. I'm always pleased with the fine work the l'aroma baristas artfully create. In particular, I'm a fan of the espresso drinks and tea refreshers. They're comparable in price to Starbucks, but the added bonus is supporting local business and the atmosphere is less big box commercial. While I can't speak to most of the food because I'm gluten-free they've added a few bakery items that aren't terrible. I've tried the gluten-free lemon poppy seed muffin and it was a bit dense but overall satiated my bakery craving. Calorie-wise I would have rather had the panna cotta with berries, which is a delightful gluten-free option. If you work or live in the area level-up or their customer loyalty punch card is helpful. Overall it's a solid cafe choice that supports local businesses and lends itself to shorter lines and less corporate interactions with the staff.
