With regard to my 'sanctimonious' rant yesterday - someone in the online world seems to have taken it a bit personally. The chosen recourse was to whine to their fellow online clique about how they 'took the bait' (what bait??) and seemingly got their feelings hurt online by the opinion of someone they don't even know.  Why would my thoughts, opinions, and feelings matter AT ALL to someone who NEVER interacts with me or knows me in the slightest? That's just bizarre.

The funny thing is - it was a post that was NOT directed at any one person in particular. If I have something to say to someone - I say it directly. I don't hide behind passive aggressive juvenile behavior. The post was just as described - a 'sanctimonious' rant.  I'm not the only person on G+ that feels the same way on the issue mentioned in the post - but I'm one of the few brave enough to call 'bullshit' on it!!

When posts like that garner such an over the top reactionary defense - a nerve most definitely got slapped with some truth. Methinks thou dost protest too much!!  Confidence is silent.  Insecurities are VERY LOUD. I would NEVER seek to defend myself on a post made by someone I don't know. I have nothing to defend to anyone - least of all people I don't even know or have any real place in my life beyond social media.

And I find it just as funny that this same person - the one who protested about perpetuating online drama - did just that in such a juvenile passive aggressive way rather than 'manning up' and dealing with it personally.  That's just pathetic - and funny.

I'm a pretty cool chick until you do something as childish as this and piss me off.  Then - the gloves come off long enough for me to vent some steam before you are removed. It's no damn wonder you end up with so much drama - you actively seek it out and perpetuate it!!

So - chalk this up as another 'sanctimonious' (I LOVE THAT WORD!) rant! Remove me from your circles. Block me if you wish. One MAJOR difference between us is that I simply REFUSE to allow this level of ridiculousness into my world. No harm. No foul. :)

First and foremost - this goes out to my husband +Ken Parent - along with all my other veteran friends and followers.  Maybe this will help educate the masses on what's appropriate and not appropriate - and more importantly - what your obligatory 'Thank You' does to a true combat veteran.

Typically - a combat veteran's service is NOT glorious or glamorous. It's not a desk job. It's ugly, dark, scary, disgusting, and beyond anything any civilian could ever even begin to comprehend.  Thanking them for that - though it seems valid and probably very innocent to a civilian - to a hardened combat veteran - it's just........................... not okay.

So this loser tried circling me today. Sorry +moses brown - I'm calling bullshit on this one. E-6 Staff GENERAL (SSG) in the NAVY?? First of all - an E-6 Staff General doesn't even exist in ANY branch of the US Military. Second - the abbreviation SSG belongs to the ARMY!! Thirdly - an E-6 in the Navy is Petty Officer First Class.

Yep - total bullshit - and reported as a fake profile. Beware out there G-plussers!! Imposters are everywhere!!
Works as I work in the US Navy. Lives in Beverly Hills, CA, United States. LOOKING FOR RELATIONSHIP

Some of what REALLY goes on where I live straight from the 'boots on the ground' doing the work - not filtered through mainstream media. Reality check, people.

Other countries don't seem to tolerate this. Why does ours?? We owe nothing to 'undocumented' people who are here illegally. They are a strain on our resources and take those resources away from legal citizens. How is that justifiable?? I don't understand.

Good for you +Simon Templar !!  That's awesome!

One of the maintenance guys where I work did the same thing - only he's from Mexico.  He started out working for us with only a 'green card' - but worked his ass off to gain his citizenship.  The day he actually got his social security number and driver's license issued was a PROUD moment for him!  He showed everyone who would look at his driver's license!

I have no issue with LEGAL immigration.  It's the illegals that are the big problem.  LEGAL immigrants actually CONTRIBUTE to the system and services.  Illegals do nothing but drain everything for the rest of us.

Story
Tagline
Everything I do is done with a fiery passion. It's just who I am.
Introduction
I'm from Baton Rouge, Louisiana - raised on a farm - transplanted all over the place with my family.  We are currently in Arizona - hopefully never moving again!  The desert is heaven on earth!!

I'm a southern redhead with a temper and attitude that goes along with that.  I have a southern accent that comes and goes at will - depending on what situation I'm trying to get into or out of!!  It's amazing what a pretty smile and well spoken genuine southern accent can accomplish!!!

I'm a HUGE college football fan - specifically following the LSU Tigers. I'm one of those girls who will scream at the tv as if they can actually hear me!

Of course - being from south Louisiana - I'm sort of defaulted into being a New Orleans Saints fan - though I was always a Saints fan even before it was popular to be one!!

I've got a loyal following and have met a lot of people I consider to be life long friends.  There's a big difference between friendly interaction and crossing the line.  Everyone should know that. Respect me and I will respect you in return.

I post a lot of my own personal thoughts, struggles, triumphs, etc. - as well as sharing from streams of friends.  I have STRONG opinions on a LOT of issues - but am smart enough to always be open to the insight of others. Sometimes I'm the quiet observer - sometimes I jump right in and let the world know my opinions.

I never judge - EVER. I've been judged my whole life - and KNOW what that feels like!

I'm a friend for life with those I consider to be my friends.
