Rock Harbor Pub & Brewery is cranking out some amazing craft beer!
From drink one, it's clear that owner/brewer Dan Pease doesn't want to settle for mediocre brewpub beer. He wants to make bona fide craft beer.

3 Rockland area restaurants made the list! 3CROW Restaurant & Bar, Fog Bar & Cafe & Owls Head General Store! We've tried all 3 and can attest that they are all wonderful although we would also say that there are several other restaurants in Rockland that should also be on this list! Have you had any of these amazing burgers?
20 burgers is almost a full week of meals.

So, we now know that most B&B's have come into the 21 century and are no longer like the Cozy Corn featured on the TV show, Parks & Rec. Here's something more to think about when contemplating those seemingly "great" hotel deals. Remember at +LimeRock Inn  it's all included!!!!
Taking a page out of the airline's playbook, hotels are now charging extra fees for everything from sticking your own water bottle in the mini fridge to leaving you the paper in the morning.

Tomorrow is the start of the Maine Boats, Homes & Harbors show here in Rockland, ME.  It is the largest "in the water" boat show on the east coast.  The weather forecast is supposed to be perfect!

Just one of the many unique things in our little corner of the world!
Reilly Harvey chugs around a Penobscot Bay anchorage in her launch, selling lobster dinners and baked goods to people in their boats.

Spring is finally in the air in Maine!  After what seemed like a never ending winter, most of the snow has melted and the crocuses have bloomed.  Last week we had some family visiting for my birthday and decided to take a drive to Mt. Desert Island.  Although the park loop road in Acadia National...

We recently had a visiting group of artists from Kentucky stay at the inn. The story of the trip, along with their stay here in Rockland made into their local paper. Check it out!!
For a number of years, local artists have taken retreats to Maine, easels and cameras in hand, to capture the breathtaking scenery, recharge their creative batteries and learn how the people who live there feel about the place that draws so many.

Bed & Breakfast

LimeRock Inn, one of Rockland’s most elegant bed & breakfasts, is tucked away on a quiet side street encircled by a wraparound porch and landscaped gardens. Step back in time to a world of relaxation in comfort and elegance in a beautiful coastal ME turreted Victorian mansion turned B&B. This exquisite example of Queen Anne architecture is reminiscent of the gracious lifestyle of a bygone era.

Situated in the historic district, LimeRock Inn is steps away from a visit to the mid-coast region's world-class Farnsworth Museum, fine dining, European style shopping, and what Down East magazine referred to as "mid-coast Maine's most beautiful ocean walk."

Winner of DownEast Magazine's Reader's Choice Award as Best B&B in Maine in 2013 & 2014.

Great hospitality in a beautiful setting. Hosts Frank and PJ are a wealth of information. Perfect location for touring up and down the coast. Rockland is a wonderful town with many eateries to choose from, art, museums, and fabulous shops. If you want a comfortable place to stay, this is it!

I just returned from a three-night getaway in Rockland, Maine. The LimeRock Inn was the perfect place to rest and relax. With a beautiful porch, excellent amenities, and terrific Innkeepers. The Innkeepers are friendly and accommadating; making sure each guests' stay is wonderful. The breakfast they make are delicious and add to the entirely perfect experience. Thank you, LimeRock Inn!

My girlfriend and I stayed here for one evening at the end of August and our standards for a Bed and Breakfast have now been changed forever. We arrived late at around 6:00pm, and PJ was there waiting for us to arrive. PJ was incredibly nice, and proceeded to tell us about the area and give us a tour of the Inn. What was most impressive is that he showed that amount of hospitality after telling us how it was the 34th night in a row that they were sold out. Being able to stay cordial while being that busy is very impressive. What I greatly appreciated more than anything, and what put this B&B ahead of others that I have stayed at, is the amount of detail the Innkeepers placed into the little things. Everything was incredibly clean, not even a smudge on any of the glasses. And, they made incredible recommendations. Honestly, I can't wait to go back and would highly recommend stopping at this Inn if you are looking for a weekend getaway. Frank and PJ, we will be back soon...
