The holidays have a way of distracting us – and not just with annoyingly repetitive Christmas carols (Can I please burn all copies of the song that goes “simmmm-ply haaaa-ving a wonderful Christmas time?!).
But things like:
- the hunt for “perfect” gift (aka driving from shopping center to shopping center and battling crowded stores with overworked, disgruntled seasonal staff)
- the temptation of endless holiday sweets (who could pass up Aunt Meg’s homemade egg nog?)
- drinking more, driving more (<– hopefully not at the same time)
