Denton, TX based Like Bridges We Burn has come a long way since they formed in the summer of 2010. They have carved out a loyal following, shared the stage with such acts as Dance Gavin Dance, The Almost, A Hero A Fake, and Oceana, performed at the 2012 Vans Warped Tour, headlined shows all over the Dallas/Fort Worth area and released their debut EP to rave reviews.
Produced by Geoff Rockwell (Me...mphis May Fire, Forever the Sickest Kids, Crown the Empire, School Boy Humor) at SKYlab Studios, The 'Fresh Out the Kitchen’ EP took the band nearly six months to complete, but the results reflect the time put in amazingly. The driving guitars and hauntingly beautiful vocals are combined with breath-taking production to produce a collection of songs that’s both unique and refreshing.
Since then, they have been recording one-off singles in an effort to continuously hook their fans and keep their catalogue fresh and on-going. The latest track, ‘Hey Indiana’, unites Like Bridges We Burn yet again with the production of Geoff Rockwell. It features guitar parts from former member Jonathan Dancause, with new vocalist Jeff Nemec belting out his own brand of melodies which undoubtedly will ensure continued (and even greater) success for Like Bridges We Burn.
They are now on a mission to spread their unique sound and touch as many hearts as possible. They continue to play heavily in the North Texas area and are working to expand their influence, their audience, and their circle of new friends.
