Almost halfway though for the first time. Feeling so much less tribe-less...
I got an email from editor saying “HAPPY PUB DAY!” and I was like, there's a special day just for going to pubs? My God, we released my book on exactly the right day, but then I realized “pub” was short for “published” and OMG ::KERMIT FLAIL:: Y'ALL, MY BOOK IS OUT TODAY. Did you get it?

When I'm on tour I often stop in the airport bookstores during layovers to do rogue signings. I do them when I can and sometimes strangers stop to ask about the book. Sometimes they buy a copy or two. Mostly they don't. But last week one older woman in particular looked at Furiously Happy and ...

The Bloggess made a video about and with people with some kind of mental disorder.
I’m broken. I’m furiously happy. Both of these things are true.

Day 16: Write a science poem. Push. She takes a breath, as deep as she can. And as her muscles contract she pushes. From places she only knows in dreams. Things are happening around her, noises, movement. But she is the push, only the push. And the sweat and the shaking ...

Introduction
I write things, either talk too much or not at all, and laugh out loud. I sing in the shower. I'm learning ukulele. I love my family and a few other weirdos, dogs, coffee, beer, and long walks on the beach.

I blog at: www.itsnothingreally.com and I'm working on two books at once. Because I enjoy setting myself up for mild failure, so why not go big?
