Another exciting event for Libera:

The National Association for State Community Services Programs (NASCSP) held their mid- winter training conference March 3rd through the 7th in Arlington, Virginia.  This conference was attended by Weatherization Assistance Program (WAP) and Community Services Block Grant (CSBG) State and Territory Program Administrators from across the nation and as far away as the Northern Mariana Islands.  Libera was pleased to be in attendance as a valued partner and vendor with the System 7 case management system that supports the CSBG, WAP and LIHEAP programs.  Libera staff who serve as subject matter experts also participated in the training and federal partner sessions that were provided at this conference.  This participation enables Libera to be proactive in providing a case management system that can support State Program Administrators in case management, data collection, and reporting for their various programs.  This proactive stance, along with the flexibility inherit in the System 7 Framework™, allows Libera to be a leader in providing a case management system that can meet a State's needs in managing their programs.

While we were at the CSAVR/NCSAB Fall Conference 2013 we learned about the 10 trends that were presented that are changing VR.  We found this to be a profound topic.   We’re very interested in the changes in the industry so we can continue to stay ahead of the curve and deliver the most robust solution now and in the future.

The Libera team attended the fall conference in Colorado held by the National Council for State Agencies for the Blind (NCSAB) and the Council of State Administrators of Vocational Rehabilitation (CSAVR).  We had a great time meeting new people and spending quality personal time with all of our current clients.  The discussions were tremendous, and the interactions brought great value to our future planning as well as inspiring new ideas.  We were able to discuss our System 7™ framework and it’s many applications within the industry, as well as hearing about how the present and future of VR.  We are excited to bring our software to these agencies to help them do their job even better, while making it easier with our interactive forms within System 7™.  We’re already looking forward to the spring conference!
