Truly a higher standard of business and customer service. Anita in the service department worked with me from start to finish and reflects this high standard through her professionalism and kindness. Without question, I will choose this dealership for both service and the purchase of my next vehicle.

We've purchased 2 cars here and love them both. However your waiting room is in desperate need of a make over. The carpet is stained and ripped. The chairs are horrible, sitting on the floor would be more comfortable. There is NEVER any food. Every other car dealerships waiting room around yours is by far better. The Bellevue Lexus waiting room is top notch. Super disappointing!!

I have sent Lyz Pyansky email, she never replied !!! So you all have been warned!!! NEVER BUY FROM THIS LEXUS LEADER IF YOU DON'T WANT TO BE SCREWED AND RIPPED OFF WITHOUT YOU KNOWING. Never ever buy from this dealership. They will screw you over without you even knowing. I bought my Lexus and it was defective, so they promised to fix it or replace my Brand New Lexus. Yes, they did replace my Lexus, but behind my back they did Trade-In and. Scammers big time and always using these sleazy tricks to do anything so you will take a loss and not them. Stay AWAY !!! If anyone think I am lying or making up, I have all the documents to prove that I am telling you the truth. Stay away. My sales man was Steve Armstrong. Smiles, was polite, but lied, scammed me and made this pleasant appearance, but tricked me. Please stay away. If anyone wants to know more what they did to me, let me know.

Hi Peter- I am sorry to hear your still feeling this way about your experience but I did double check my emails your first email was forwarded to management but I did reply when emailed again back in March. The Vice President of Obrien Auto Group attempted contact back in March as well and left a Voicemail. If you have any further questions, comments or concerns please let me know. Thank you in advance.

Walked into to Lexus of Tacoma and didn't have any intentions of buying a new car that day. Just wanted to check out the IS line in person and test drive them. Walked into the lot and was greeted by a salesman (Kevin Lee). Very polite and very helpful, he showed us the 2015 IS250 and the 2016 IS300. I ended up going with the 2015 IS250 because it made more sense budget wise and its more bang (features) for the buck. When it came to purchasing the vehicle it was very smooth transaction, the salesman made every effort to ensure we were happy and getting what we paid for. The finance department was also an good experience, she explained the different options that were available and made the effort to ensure my needs. Overall, I highly recommend Lexus of Tacoma for these reasons a friendly/professional atmosphere, didn’t feel pressured and was very efficient with my time.

I bought a used Lexus from a private party and have really loved the car. Lexus is an excellent vehicle to own. I have only been to this dealership on a couple of occasions and everyone has been really nice. However, I went in today to have a recall warranty item fixed, an oil change and a check engine light turned off (my son did not properly twist the gas cap when he filled it for me) and my experience was quite different. The service person who checked me in was nice enough but started out trying to upsell me every possible thing he could and was pretty pushy about it. I have been taken advantage of by mechanics in the past and I do my own research now. Especially, because the check engine light goes on with this car every time I sneeze, practically. The recall was to replace a faulty Fuel Sensor Gasket. He called me a few hours after I dropped my vehicle off to tell me that they found several codes corresponding with the check engine light. What he 'didn't' mention was that ALL of those codes most likely had to do with the faulty Fuel Sensor Gasket. He quoted me over $1,500.00 worth of work that he tried impress upon me as fairly urgent. When I declined, so I could do my own homework (the car has been running absolutely flawlessly) he was rather condescending and said he would tell the mechanic that I was 'just going to let it go.' I told him to have the mechanic reset the check engine light. He sort of stammered and seemed very put off by this request. I explained that if all of the things were wrong that he was assuring me were wrong, and that if the light (which I highly suspected had come on because of the loose - not faulty- gas cap) was left on, I would have no way of knowing if I got a new error code. He was adamant they couldn't reset it until I had them do the work he gave me the quote for. I finally told him not to worry about it and that I would just pop into AutoZone and use their scanner to reset it myself. At which time he finally agreed that the mechanic now 'could' reset it. It struck me as odd. One of the items he said needed to be replaced, and I clearly declined, was a gas cap for $35.00. I really didn't think my car even needed it and wanted to see the seal for myself. I also wanted to take my car to get a second opinion from another mechanic before any changes. When I got there to pick up my car at the time I had told him I would be there. Nobody could find him. It took about 15 minutes to locate him, and my key, because it wasn't where it was supposed to be according to other staff trying to help me. We were finally doing the paperwork so I could settle my account and be on my way when he said that he went ahead and "authorized the mechanic to put a new gas cap on for me and that it would just be another $35.00. No big deal." I do not appreciate anybody sticking their hand in my wallet, especially after I specifically said NO. He said he knew I had said No, yet authorized it anyway. I called him out on it; I was polite but I was not happy. I said I would pay for the part since they put it on, but that I wanted my old gas cap so I could see for myself this supposed degenerate situation. My impression was that he needed to have something to point to as being ‘necessary’ so that when my check engine light did not come back on (as he admonished me that it would as soon as I drove out) that they could say “Oh gee, I guess the $35.00 gas cap was all you needed. Not the O2 Sensor and PCV, etc.” He took $50 off my bill, but failed to give me my allegedly defective gas cap, that HE authorized to be replaced. So I have been driving all afternoon and my car has been running like a champ... and the check engine light is still off. Oh, and the Mechanic’s notes on my bill state the following: “C/S the VSC LIGHT IS ON ENGINE RUNS FINE. GAS CAP IS TIGHT.” My honest opinion? Someone was trying to pull a fast one and chose to not treat their customer with respect, intelligence or integrity. Not at all what I expected from Lexus or from this dealership.

Recently purchased a dealer maintained used LS430 from an independent lot and took it into Lexus of Tacoma to have a "luxury feature" coded out. They did this ON THE SPOT, for FREE. With a smile. Returned a few days later to have the transmission fluid exchanged and to purchase a second key fob for what seem to be very reasonable prices. My service writer is Joey Bueche. Joey dug through 10 years of Lexus service history to investigate and confirm the maintenance history of my car. He made recommendations based on my vehicle's actual needs instead of pushing some cookie-cutter 100k mile service plan on me. I basically asked him to sell me new tie-rods to address some low speed weirdness and high speed vibration. He could have, but instead he had his guys find the actual problem, which was tire quality related. Turns out, these guys have extremely competitive tire pricing, and road hazard protection is included in their price. For the same price as the discount tire guys, I enjoyed clean bathrooms, fresh snacks, and had new tires mounted and balanced by adults. They did a 4-wheel alignment for less than $100. The new tires and alignment fixed everything. I get the feeling that these guys are actually in the business of protecting the Lexus ownership experience, not just the cars that come from their sales lot.

So I bought myself a 2002 Lexus IS300 that only came with a valet key, and decided I would go to the dealer to get a FOB key. I came in on 4/9 to get a quote and was told around $500 with tax: $250 to remove the ECU and flash it, and over $180 for the key at least. The numbers not adding up I left to think it over. I came back in on 4/12 and informed the service department that I was going to go ahead and get the work done. They then told me it would be $817 plus tax ( almost $900 total ). After taking in what I just was told, I asked why it got so expensive in just a few days. The employee replied: " You must have given us the wrong info or heard us wrong, we've always charged that dude " even though they asked for my year, model, and vin, with proof of ownership to get the quote in the first place. I asked the employee who was working the desk on 4/9, and he informed me it was him and the original person I talked to. The funny thing is, the guy I originally spoke with to went in back to get a quote from a ' more knowledgable employee '. So basically I was getting the run around and told it was my fault, in a very smart alec way. He was then smart enough to tell me the quote I was given for length of the job, was wrong too. Lexus apparently outsources work to a company called Gaurdian Security Group. I left and called this business he mentioned right outside the doors of the dealer. I was quoted $180 for everything. I didn't wait a second longer and drove to Gaurdian. I was quoted only a 30min- 1 hour job. Sure enough on the hour it was finished and I drove off with a perfectly functional key and $700 in savings. Funniest thing, the owner told me that he was confused why the dealer told me I needed to flash my ecu, because only 2001 models have to, all others don't need it. So the dealer would of probably made $6-700 profit off of a $180 key. If you need a key, I recommend going to Gaurdian Secuirty Group hands down. A locally owned, and well mannered business. Never will I bother with that dealer ever again.

Great place to buy a used car! They price the cars fairly so you don't have to negotiate much or worry about getting a bad deal. Plus they make them look great before they sell them. Sales staff, management and finance were all great to work with. Ask for Will Reid and you'll be in good hands.
