I'm working on a Primordia Player's Handbook for the players of my next campaign. It's already pushing 20 pages, and I haven't done backgrounds and descriptions of the gods yet. 😱

I just had a fantastic interview with +Mike Schley for an upcoming episode. Mike's made a lot of the maps for D&D 5e. He's got a really cool kickstarter going right now for a system-neutral encounter area with all the maps you'll need. He's come up with an innovative way to have "fog of war" when using physical maps at a tabletop, so you don't give things away to the players. He's also got a pretty cool world of his own called Fernweh.

Even the best published adventure can be improved by tailoring it to your players and their PCs. Lex discusses some issues with The Hidden Shrine of Tamoachan, and he details some of the changes he's made to the adventure to address these problems. Hopefully this example will help you put your own spin on the next published adventure you run, leading to an even more enjoyable experience for both you and your players.

As I discussed in recent episodes, I've been working on revamping my pantheon for Primordia. I'm happy with the results so far, however today I realized that I'm likely going to end up with more than nine deities that are commonly worshipped in Elandria.

That's not a problem in and of itself, but it does mean the Church of the Nine will now be a misnomer! Oh noes! Maybe this is a darling that just needs to die, but I'm trying to figure out a way to boil down the common deities of Elandria to nine. lol

In this special, Patron-sponsored bonus episode, Lex discusses whether or not we need mass combat rules in our tabletop RPGs. He also presents a listener-GM's fantastic strategy on how to turn player absence into an opportunity for the rest of the group. Finally he gives some thoughts on keeping real-world religious conflicts from ruining the game for everyone.
