Just seen an Instagram of an AMG engine built by Jens Feitke in the AMG factory in Affalterbach. I've just got my C63 and took this photo last week. It's only a slim chance that it's the same engine but it's definitely the same guy.

Evening's baking of Chelsea Buns topped with apricot jam and icing. Recipe reduced in size since there's only two of us.

Spotted this monster hiding in my retractable washing line. Doesn't look like a normal house spider to me!

Possibly the best rare early house scene compilation I think I've ever heard and in one of the most beautiful places on earth. Free listen to my circles :-)

I don't care what you just wrote, anyone using a 10 inch tablet to take a photograph needs to be heckled, a lot.

Bit soppy but warms the heart.

This story will warm you better than a coffee in a cold winter day:
"We enter a little coffeehouse with a friend of mine and give our order. While we're approaching our table two people come in and they go to the counter -
'Five coffees, please. Two of them for us and three suspended'
They pay for their order, take the two and leave. I ask my friend:
'What are those 'suspended' coffees ?'
'Wait for it and you will see'
Some more people enter. Two girls ask for one coffee each, pay and go. The next order was for seven coffees and it was made by three lawyers - three for them and four 'suspended'. While I still wonder what's the deal with those 'suspended' coffees I enjoy the sunny weather and the beautiful view towards the square in front of the café. Suddenly a man dressed in shabby clothes who looks like a beggar comes in through the door and kindly asks
'Do you have a suspended coffee ?'
It's simple - people pay in advance for a coffee meant for someone who can not afford a warm beverage. The tradition with the suspended coffees started in Naples, but it has spread all over the world and in some places you can order not only a suspended coffee, but also a sandwich or a whole meal."

Despite a power outage knocking out the entire town, Rossi's were still able to knock out a delicious Carnivora pizza and Spaghetti Carbonara for my girlfriend and I. Nice place, friendly staff and decent prices.

Great pizzas. Been eating from here for 15 years. 10" deep pan meat feast with a little pot of thousand island dressing.

My girlfriend and I booked an excursion for the Dolphin Swim to the Blue Lagoon Dolphin Encounters via the excursions desk at Sandals on Nassau and couldn't be happier with the experience. It is quite expensive at $370 per couple plus an $18 coach fare but the experience is priceless. We swam with Jake and Stormy (Jake being one of Dolphins used during filming for the 1996 Flipper film) - we had a dance, fed them, rubbed their teeth, hugged them and for the grand finale had a "foot push" which consists of both dolphins pushing your feet so you glide through the water for about 10-15 metres. While hugging Stormy, he managed to position himself in a somewhat awkward place for a man but I didn't suffer any damage thankfully - it's amazing just how aware of you they are. Altogether, the Dolphin swim, the trainers (with their "nutcracker" jokes as a result of my unnerving experience) and the beach was fantastic. There looks to be lots to do for big and little kids and even the ride out in the boat is an eye opener seeing the mega rich's houses en route past the tip of Paradise Island. Highly recommended and thoroughly enjoyed - 5 stars through and through.

I had two Rock doors fitted by Jim about 12 months ago - the experience was first rate with everything being arranged via email and telephone. He visited to measure up to ensure he had the correct sizes and returned three weeks later with a colleague to fit the doors which were both completed within three hours and transformed the look of the house. The end result was fantastic and we have been very pleased. Jim is friendly, courteous and polite and did a fantastic job. Recently we noticed one of the two doors we use most often was starting to stick slightly at the bottom and after a quick email exchange, Jim had arranged to visit us on a Saturday (today in fact) to resolve it. He even put new silicone around the door where we had recently decorated and the door is perfect again after a quick adjustment. I've been so impressed I asked Jim to measure up for Rock door French doors to replace the sliding patio door which now looks really dated compared to the Rock doors. I can't recommend Jim enough - if he serves your area and you want the best doors with the best fitted result and fantastic after sales, he's the man. It's just as shame he doesn't do windows!

So good, we went back. There's so many guest houses in the area and such good choice but we'd enjoyed our last stay so much that we decided to just make life easier and had back to the Firgarth. Pam and Colin were very welcoming as always and the breakfasts (cooked by Colin) were outstanding. The room we stayed in was like a home from home bedroom and superbly relaxing with an excellent clean bathroom. Top marks as far as I'm concerned.
