Rosanne Armitage: Usually if your activity is viewed as a "hotel" than it is a commercial use that may or maynot be allowed in your zoned area. In which you either have to cease the operation or spend a lot of money getting permission. It is a method of getting people out of property, or off land they wish to develop.

Rosanne Armitage: If you are using booking.com or airbnb the renting out of your property should be lawful if you reside on site...thus it is not a "hotel"....or "visitor accommodation"
