Today was one of those days where I stopped to ask myself if I am absolutely crazy - giving up a stable, secure job as a professor (which I LOVE) to pursue the path of an entrepreneur. Sometimes people think that sounds glamorous, but the truth is - sometimes it's the SCARIEST thing in the world! BUT, I know that all things work together for good to them that love God. So even though I can't see the end from the beginning and everything doesn't always make sense, I MUST move forward. Easier said than done sometimes, but it's reality! For we walk by faith and not by sight. Man, that's the truth right now. Ok, I'm done.

Buddy, it makes me stressed just "thinking" about you going out on your own. But I guess that's the one of the many differences between you and I. I need structure and are creating your own, and it's very inspiring. You really demonstrate the power of faith, and determination through your work.....we are lucky to have you in our lives.

So, we taught our son to say please when he wants something. Now he thinks it's a magic word and if he says it, we have to do what he wants us to do. He's funny!

Changing the world One Blog At A Time
"If you have ideas to share, you have a blog in your mind" - Leslie Samuel

Everyone has ideas, and I believe that these ideas are meant to be shared. Our society is built on ideas. Ideas change the world.

Since 2008, I've been using the power of blogs to share my ideas with the world, and to teach others to do the same.

From Biology to internet marketing, I've seen how powerful blogs can for establishing authority, helping others, and even landing my dream job as a University Professor.

What are my blogs?
  • Interactive Biology - Where I teach Biology to tens of thousands of people all over the world
  • Become A Blogger - My blog, podcast and training program where I teach others to build blogs that change the world. This project was done in collaboration with Gideon Shalwick and Yaro Starak out of Australia.

So why am I on Google Plus?

Simple - because I believe that Google Plus ROCKS! I love the features and plan on using it more to interact with people all over the world to help share my ideas even further :)

Thanks for checking out my page. Hope to connect with you on here!

I spent a week in this hotel and was pretty impressed. The rooms had a nice modern flare, the facilities were pretty classy and the service was pretty decent. Location: It's right on the strip. This may or may not be good depending on what you're into. On the good side, it's right where everything is happening. On the bad side, it's right where everything is happening. This is blatantly obvious by the many people with signs and t-shirts letting you know how you can call a number and girls will be sent to you within 20 minutes. Some people might like this, others (like myself) could do without ;) Customer service: From checkin to check out, all of the workers were very polite and helpful. Room service, in my opinion was o.k. However, It seems as if they just did the bare minimum (make up the bed and change the towels). On the other hand, with all that happens in Vegas, I can understand their hesitation to go beyond that. They just might find something they don't want to find :) Rooms: The rooms were pretty modern and classy. The beds were very comfortable and there's absolutely nothing I can find negative to say about the accommodations. Much better than some of the others I've seen. One thing to note is that there is a $25/day Guest fee. This covers internet, access to the gym and a number of other things. I wasn't expecting this at all, because it wasn't stated on my orbitz receipt. This ended costing me $180 more than expected. This is just something to be aware of and to account when budgeting your trip. Like many Vegas hotels, there's lots to do there. From checking out the dolphins to swimming in the pool, all kinds of shows and many ways to keep yourself entertained. The internet was useable, but definitely not fast. I wouldn't expect to be streaming HD videos, but it works. All in all, if I were going to Vegas again, I would definitely consider staying here.

After looking at the prices of the food in my hotel, I ventured on a trek to find good breakfast outside of the hotel. Then I saw a bright yellow familiar sign - DENNY'S. Yayyy! Now, we all know Denny's - you get decent food (especially breakfast) at a relatively affordable price. Well, this is pretty much the same as any other Denny's - no surprises. Just Denny's. For some reason, I expected the price to be a little inflated, but that was not the case. I've seen other reviewers complain about the wait. Well, when I went there were a lot of people there (to me that's always a good sign). However, I was seated within about 5 minutes. The service was decent. The waitress was polite, and the food came within 10 minutes of me ordering. All in all, it was a pretty good experience. If you find yourself in Vegas and need an affordable breakfast - Denny's is a pretty good place. *What I ordered* Main dish: Country-fried steak & Eggs. Tasted very good. Side: Pancake puppies. Tasted alright, but wasn't a big fan. Only ended up eating 1.5 Drink: Groovy Mango smoothie. This was AWESOME. Tasted like real mango. Special tip: Bottled water (Dasani) is only $1.59. Might as well grab a few of those and bring it to your hotel room. It sure beats the $5 you'll pay for the same thing in that expensive refrigerator in your room :)
