When discussing MS's recently announced Surface tablet, you ask "What is different from the iPad?". You go on to cite the high-tech materials and the magnetic cover that doubles as a keyboard. Most professionals even at this point with all the unknowns of the Surface would probably characterize the major difference not as those but rather Windows on Intel or Windows on ARM vs iOS. Next, for example, camera resolutions are usually specified in megapixels, not as you say 1.2 pixel for the Nexus 7 and iPad's 5-pixel camera. Furthermore comparing the Nexus 7's front facing camera with the iPad's rear facing camera IMO is really misleading. They are intended for completely different purposes. Why not compare the front facing cameras of both (same purpose) and state the Nexus 7 lacks a rear facing camera? Finally, stating that the Nexus 7 has only half the screen resolution as the new iPad is completely nonobjective. Your "half" measure undoubtedly comes from the 2048x1536 pixel count of the iPad vs the 1280x800 count of the Nexus 7. But in this case size, and more importantly actual screen dimensions, matter. A much more objective way of comparing screen resolutions is pixel density. In this case the iPad's 264ppi is only some 22% better than the Nexus 7's 216ppi. And for every day use, i.e., reading emails and surfing the web, those differences may not even be noticeable unless one is zooming in substantially.
Frankly, I can't figure out how much of this is carelessness, naivete, or disingenuous. The largely non-technical audience who could benefit from this type of reporting really needs to be presented these in an objective, comprehensible matter. I believe you could have and should have done much better!
Here's an FBI-sanctioned site to run a quick check.
However, no prospective employer or ANYONE for that matter, should demand your Facebook login and password. We shouldn't need legislation for this, but apparently we do.
And would you really want to work for someone who insisted on going through your Facebook account posing as you?
