A charming portrait entitled: Luca Und Titus In Papierhuten, (Luca and Titus in Paper Hats), painted in 1926 by German expressionist artist and printmaker: Conrad Felizmüller. The sense of time is presented through the wall paper, the style of clothing, and the yellowed white of the paint on the door. These are the golden years when we live the majority of our life. Here, our possibilities are endless. We are cared for in lesser and greater ways. Immersed in play, we live in the world of our imagination before we have to grow up and pay bills. But, why did we stop, and when?

A modern piece of representational art entitled: Red Latex Suit created in 1973 by British pop artist and sculptor: Allen Jones, who combines oil and latex to create a mixed media composition that appears to ask the question: "Does what we desire blind us?"

Too enjoyable to watch you ramble +Bryan Lowery. Strangely, I can follow your meandering rhythm. I'm going to go and lie down in a darkened room now.

Bursting with spangles of summer sunlight, this portrait, entitled: Portrait d'Une Inconnue (Portrait of an Unknown), painted in 1944 by French impressionist artist: Marcel Dyf, presents an interesting premise. Was his subject conjured out of thin air, comprised of elements that he found attractive, or is she a real person who refused to give her name or anything about herself? Perhaps it is neither, but the title becomes an intriguing one.

A final look at the beautiful futuristic paintings of Austrian-based bio-mechanical artist: Peter Gric in an art work entitled: Android II. There is a sense that even a cyborg won't make it through life. Do we feel empathy? If you create something destructive, but it looks like you, do you give it a pass when it fails?

Synchronization by Czec/Austrian surreal artist: Peter Gric. Is this the only way it could happen?

It would work quite well with your bland beige walls +Bryan Lowery. Actually, you could go for the peanut butter and jelly effect and recreate this with physical pigments when the next blood letting session rolls around. Just don't add words. That's when it begins to get disturbing...

A surreal abstract with attractive curves and blues set upon reds, entitled: The Kiss created in 1923 by Belgian abstract artist and poet: Pierre-Louis Flouquet. The simplicity is gently divine. It is tasteful and metaphorical. With the inclusion of two dots, the two separate pieces become one, the white 'doorway' behind leading to the promise of a positive future.

We walk down the road. We meet strangers. We become familiar with them. They take on aspects of ourselves. Alluding to life as a singular straight pathway, Spanish surrealist artist: Salvador Dali presents us with the back of a starving ass whose sparse carcass is already buzzing with flies as an ode to its future passing, marching before two papal figures who remain invisible to the world beyond their costumes as their human deeds are rejected in favor of their cloak of religiosity set before the things that are the shadow of all men, lust, portrayed as a feminine form combined with grapes, an allusion to the God of Wine and Madness, Bacchus. This painting is entitled: Les Chanoines, (The Canons), created in 1959. One man's treasure is all men's poison, perhaps?

Checking out South African film-maker, musician, & singer

:: OBIE MAVUSO ::

who incorporates soul, psychedelia, rock & hip hop into her songs via the recent release of her EP // Cosmic Fire //. Feeling the burn of being a trail blazer, this young lady is out and proud, paying homage to her own life story through taped influences that build on soul to encompass electronic and experimental in a gentle spoken rap that questions what it is to be alive, both inside and outside personal defined choices. Definitely one to watch out for.

Perhaps, once humanity integrates robots into its everyday life, we might realize the errors of our base natures. I'm led there by the title of this hauntingly beautiful piece entitled: Dissolution of Ego III created by Czec/Austrian artist: Peter Gric. Is it that we have become Creators ourselves only to view our faults? Could this have happened before? Is the cycle on repeat?

A surreal figurative portrait entitled: Inorganic Muse IV dated 2012 by Czec-born, Austrian based, artist: Peter Gric. She's not real. But it's too late. We already identified with the pose. Anything that is perceived to act like us, must be like us. Right?

"I wonder if it would be possible to break up with someone in advance of their creation?"

Yes it is. It's not to be recommended +Bryan Lowery. If you require further explanation, check out an episode of Catfish.

The trouble is that as with anything, the idea begins through a thought in the head. Once the imagination has been ignited, it's downhill all the way. Don't you just love the internet?

[Would the phrase: "Be careful what you wish for because you might never get it." be of any use here?]
