A few years ago, just having a website meant you did a great thing to position your business for winning. Then you had to spend so much money on Google to become really visible. Now there are 1,000's of companies working to get you on top 10 spots. Google gets more than 68% of searches done through them! To top it all more than 63% are done using mobile devices and that trend is increasing by almost 10% every year! What does all this have to do with Virtual Tours?

We know in the recent past reviews have become very important for businesses, they could make or break a business. With Google receiving such a huge number of search requests, it only makes sense that companies must focus and make sure that their reviews on Google (as well as yelp and other services) are monitored and most importantly responded to. What about Virtual Tours?

Most businesses appear on Google search results, simply because someone identified them as a business, not the business owner!!! That is shocking! Good news is that when someone takes a few minutes to set up their "Google My Business" page, the results are astonishing.

I recently helped a client who complained that his customers cannot find him on Google. In 30 minutes we were able to get him seen (these are not typical results of course). Not only that. Today (10/20/2015), less than 3 months later, traffic volume has gone up by over 200%, phone calls have increased (over 150 come via Google), and Over 130 people ask for directions to his business. AND customers even complained that the timings (of his business operation) were not correct on Google (which he informed me about when we spoke this morning and I have since corrected them). So what does this have to do with Virtual Tours?

Well, my visit to my clients and prospects is initially for Virtual Tours. But many times I notice that their businesses on Google are crippled! So then my service wold be useless if no one sees the tours. As a result I end up helping these businesses with their Google Business Profiles. Once that is done and the are easily found on Google. The Virtual Tours become a BIG impact player.

Since a very tiny percentage (almost negligible) has any Virtual Tours of their businesses, my clients get the first shot when they appear in search results.

Not only is their Google profile good looking... if you look at the image above you will see that one of my clients "Utopia Myaree" has extra images including option to "See inside" compared to another restaurant right down the street "HKC Restaurant" which... you can judge for your self.

So if a customer of my clients had to choose between two businesses offering same services, but my client has virtual tour, while the other businesses do not. Which do you think will get the first shot?

A step further. If a customer comes to my clients business, for example a banquet hall and books the place. They do not have to keep going there again and again to make plans, they can sit in the comfort of their homes and family members or friends can look around the business via the 360 virtual tour and decide how they want the groom to enter and from where, or where the bride should be standing etc. They can even do this BEFORE going to book a hall.

Now if there are 2 banquet halls down the same street, one has 36o virtual tour and the other one does not, which do you think will get the first shot?

I have NOT YET spoken to the "actual" business owner who has refused to include a virtual tour for their business. Of course I have spoken to managers and sub managers (who have no real stake to loose) who have refused my services. But as a business owner, I quickly understood that I need to speak to the business owners, because THEY care about success of their businesses.

I am involved in several businesses, but right now, I really love doing this! The Virtual 360 Business Tours for my customers. We both have so much to gain!

Cheers!
