Have lots of files to rename, change case or remove weird characters?
This is my favorite tool. I't fast, works with images, GPS data, music files, video and TV shows.  Best of all it's freeware.

Trying something new tonight. Seattle Cider, Basil Mint Hard Cider.
Surprising to me, it tastes like wine. #seattlecider

One of the baby birds fell out of the nest (or more likely got pushed out) today. I hated to see it helplessly wiggling on the ground. So I put it back in hoping for the best.
Good luck little guy!

This is an interesting project, hopefully it expands quickly.

Project Sunroof is awesome!

I love this new 20% project from Google. They take a bunch of high-resolution Google Earth data and figure out how much sunlight individual houses get. Currently, this is live for the Bay Area and Fresno in California, plus the Boston area. So you can get a pretty good estimate of whether solar panels would save money on your house. Hint: solar makes sense for a lot more people than you'd think!

You can even connect directly with several different solar panel providers if you'd like to start saving money now. I hope that Google expands this even more widely at some point.

Edit: By the way, here's one more reason why this kicks butt. The price of solar is dropping so much that the cost of solar panel modules isn't the primary factor as much anymore. Instead, the overall cost of solar installation, including cost for solar installers to find customers, is one of the larger factors now. If Project Sunroof can help solar customers and solar installers find each other more easily, that just pushes solar to be even cheaper and more widely accessible. If you're interested, see http://rameznaam.com/2015/08/10/how-cheap-can-solar-get-very-cheap-indeed/ for a little more about this.

Big surprise, online trolls are literally losers.

They conducted a study to reinforce that Internet trolls are losers.  Nice to see that the research backs what we already know.
Researchers watched how men treated women during 163 plays of the video game Halo 3.

Story
Introduction
I am the owner of +Geek Specialtieswebsite design and development and SEO services for small business and organizations.

I love working with Wordpress (.org) and develop most of my client sites using Wordpress as a CMS.

I grew up in Minnesota and now live in Bloomington, MN.

I love most things to do with technology.  I love to figure out 'how things work' and tinker.  I am recently getting into a new hobby, gas powered remote control cars.  I'm also getting back into building small electronics.  Do you have any good starter small electronics project recommendations?

I work from home - it's awesome. Although with these hangouts, I may actually have to get dressed in the mornings now.
