Why oh why put barriers for the consumers trying to buy and use your product. You're only shooting yourself in the foot.

The ones who would "steal" your product, can generally get around "DRM" easily.  But consumers trying to act responsibly will simply leave, with a foul sense of your brand.

Why is everyone mad at K-Cups? http://muo.fm/1AhhUBu
When it comes to modern technological conveniences, there are a number of things that irritate people above all others: unhelpful error messages, dead batteries, and cumbersome digital rights management (DRM). A company that puts DRM in place on their products is very clearly telling consumers that their freedoms will be sacrificed so that corporate execs can…

Why we have so many bank fees and increased interest rates.

$1 billion from 100 financial institutions worldwide.

It is estimated that the largest sums were grabbed by hacking into banks and stealing up to ten million dollars in each raid. On average, each bank robbery took between two and four months, from infecting the first computer at the bank’s corporate network to making off with the stolen money.

The cybercriminals began by gaining entry into an employee’s computer through spear phishing, infecting the victim with the Carbanak malware.
Kaspersky Lab, INTERPOL, Europol and authorities from different countries have combined efforts to uncover the criminal plot behind an unprecedented cyberrobbery. Up to one billion American dollars was stolen in about two years from financial institutions worldwide.

This is brilliant!
Ford setup unsuspecting men on a blind date with a professional stunt driver that takes them for a wild car ride.

Lucky Buddha
Enlightened Beer.

Not sure how the flavor will be, but I couldn't pass on 6 interesting Buddha bottles, and who couldn't use a little more luck.

A sense of scale: Wilt Chamberlain, Arnold Schwarzenegger, and Andre the Giant hanging out on the set of Conan the Destroyer. The three were good friends, and apparently both Chamberlain and Andre the Giant enjoyed picking Schwarzenegger up and moving him around, because if you can do that, it's probably kind of fun.

(Here's a video of the Governator telling some of those stories -- https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bzIu7o5NH1k)

Dash Cam Confessionals - The cop got some moves !
Going for a "shake it off routine" in his car, this is going to make you smile. Then watch it for a second time for the parts where he is "serious" and stops doing the fun things. Got me wondering - how often do we hide what we enjoy because what others might think of us?

A bit concerned about the hands free driving but fun nonetheless. ;)

Story
Introduction
I am the owner of +Geek Specialtieswebsite design and development and SEO services for small business and organizations.

I love working with Wordpress (.org) and develop most of my client sites using Wordpress as a CMS.

I grew up in Minnesota and now live in Bloomington, MN.

I love most things to do with technology.  I love to figure out 'how things work' and tinker.  I am recently getting into a new hobby, gas powered remote control cars.  I'm also getting back into building small electronics.  Do you have any good starter small electronics project recommendations?

I work from home - it's awesome. Although with these hangouts, I may actually have to get dressed in the mornings now.
