“When I design a piece it’s pretty much 90% on the computer, but when you actually come to paint the painting it’s entirely paint. So it’s kind of a strange jump from the digital to the physical.
I try to create art that fits the space, that compliments it and looks like it belongs there. A lot of graffiti artists tend to just conquer a space. They don’t work with the wall, they kind of just beat it to submission.
I do use a lot of 3D CGI design. Like I’ll create a 3D mesh on the computer and then rotate it, light it, to fit that theme. When I come to paint it, it falls right in there, without having to do too much guesswork.”
The design of the NEW ThinkPad X1 range echos the way Replete approaches his work - A series of powerful devices created to work around your needs, designed to work in any environment and offer an uncompromising experience.

“I always wanted to do something different than everyone else. People tend to try and force it, but I just wanted to make things that were elegant and also very unique.
Some graffiti artists, they strive for longevity with a piece, they want their piece to last as long as possible. It’s unrealistic, someone is going to paint over it in a matter of hours, days, maybe weeks if you’re lucky. That’s why I love working in derelict space, places that are going to get torn down or destroyed."
Like Replete, we are always innovating with new materials and techniques. The NEW ThinkPad X1 Carbon features an innovative new “Super Magnesium” alloy and satellite-grade carbon fiber that’s stronger than the materials used to manufacture airplanes and wind turbines.

This page has been created to provide a high-quality atmosphere in which users or fans of Lenovo products and services may share experiences and expertise. While members from Lenovo may participate at intervals to engage in the discussions and offer advice and suggestions, this discussion board is not designed as a dedicated and staffed support channel (although you can go to Lenovo Forums for technical help). This is an informal and public board, and Lenovo does not guarantee the accuracy of information and advice posted here. (See important Warranty information below.)
Lenovo reserves the right to remove inappropriate language and postings. In such instances, the user will be warned and may be banned from future participation.
- No posts shall contain profanity, or hate language targeting race/ethnicity, religion, gender, nationality, or political beliefs. Posts should avoid these topics. Posts violating these rules will be moderated, and the user warned. Repeat occurrences could result in banning.
- No pornography--whether in the form of written words, expressions, posted images, or links to external material--will be tolerated.
- No personal threats will be tolerated against community members, Lenovo employees, or company affiliates.
- No personal attacks.
It is fair to state disagreement with facts or conclusions that another member has posted but dissent must be expressed in an objective and reasoned manner. Treat others with the respect you wish to receive. Consider whether your comments serve to advance the discussion in a positive direction.
Members are strongly encouraged to post directly to the wall only once for each topic. If members need to share additional information subsequent to their initial post, they should use the comment field below it to do so. We reserve the right to consolidate multiple posts on the same topic into a single thread.
It is acceptable to state concern for how a particular Lenovo policy, performance, or procedure does or does not meet the expectation of a particular member, but it is not acceptable to use this community in an attempt to broadly organize or incite members en masse, to cancel orders, return systems, undertake legal action or otherwise disrupt the normal business processes of Lenovo.
No posting of private information. Lenovo respects the privacy of each member and, as such, we request that participants respect the privacy of all community members and of Lenovo employees that they speak with on the phone, or correspond with via email. Posts revealing items such as full names, email, or direct phone numbers of others without their express consent is prohibited.
No commercial solicitation, other than advertisements placed by Lenovo.
No solicitation for, nor exchange of, information that will aid or enable unethical, illegal or immoral activities. For example, no posts concerning exchange of passwords, credit or banking information, warranty entitlement information for purpose of re-entitling out-of-warranty products. No posts shall include instructions or directions intended to subvert security measures, including passwords, locking mechanisms, fingerprint scans etc., nor shall any posts provide descriptions to the location of, nor direct links to, content related to these topics.
Members are restricted to a single online persona as posting under multiple IDs can be a deceptive practice and can create false impressions. The consistent use of a single ID/persona when posting enhances the reputation and recognition of the individual community member.
Members should mention their country location when relevant. Location is important when offering advice as sales, service, and product options may not be consistent from country to country. Also note that community members from different countries do not always have the same understanding of metaphors, social references, or slang expressions. Posts written with this in mind may be more easily understood by all.
