Would you like to play Super Mario for a couple of minutes for science? Please participate in our study: http://sodwana.uni-ak.ac.at/marioStudy/study.html - please share it with all your friends, too. We need many many people to play.
We are conducting a research study on player behavior in Super Mario Bros. for which we use a modified version of a public domain clone - called Infinite Mario from Markus Persson. Participation involves playing different levels of the game through your web browser.

Assistant Professor in HCI and Game Science at UOIT
Introduction
My research in HCI and game science combines the areas of entertainment computing, game usability, interaction design, affective gaming, and user experience evaluation.

Most of this work is focused on the development and analysis of interaction and evaluation systems utilizing sensors (e.g., brainwaves, muscle and skin conductance sensors, eye tracking). High-resolution gameplay data sets require intuitive visual analysis tools that triangulate data from multiple sources; I have been involved in the development of and published about the creation of such triangulation and visualization tools.

If you are a student interested in working with me, please do not hesitate to contact me.
