New Release.... Remnants by +Carolyn Arnold...

All that remains are whispers of the past…

When multiple body parts are recovered from the Little Ogeechee River in Savannah, Georgia, local law enforcement calls in FBI agent and profiler Brandon Fisher and his team to investigate. But with the remains pointing to three separate victims, this isn’t proving to be an open-and-shut case.

With no quick means of identifying the victims, building a profile of this serial killer is proving more challenging than usual. How is the killer picking these victims? Why are their limbs being severed and bodies mutilated? And what is it about them that is triggering this killer to murder?

The questions compound as the body count continues to rise, and when a torso painted blue and missing its heart is found, the case takes an even darker turn. But this is only the beginning, and these new leads draw the FBI into a creepy psychological nightmare. One thing is clear, though: the killing isn’t going to stop until they figure it all out. And they are running out of time…

Bear from Truly, Madly, Whiskey by +Melissa Foster, New York Times Bestselling Author and Chocoholic is +Sonya Neal of Sanity is for those without children blog's new favorite man!

Bear is my new favorite man! Seriously! I adore this man and want to hang out with him.

Bear Whiskey is a biker who runs several businesses for his family, often putting aside his own wants because it's family. He's been after Crystal for months, making her more and more comfortable with him, but she always keeps him at arm's length. She's happy to be friends but anything else is off the table.

Crystal is slowly getting her life back under control, but her past is haunting her and driving a huge wedge between her and Bear. But Bear is as patient (and pushy) as he is kind, and he soon has Crystal in his arms. But will they find their happily ever after? Or will Crystal's family and history get in the way? Can Bear have the love that he wants and the work life that he deserves?

This book can definitely be read as a standalone book, but I promise that you'll enjoy Tru Blue (and learn more about the characters) if you read it first!

Remnants by +Carolyn Arnold will make you question and re-question everything that passes your eyes says +Shelly Maynard of Lynchburg Mama by Shelly Maynard.

Mysteries have always been a favorite read and are the first section of the bookstore that I gravitate toward. However, when I get the mystery embedded with a psychological twist, oh how it makes my day! I highly recommend reading the previous books in the Brandon Fisher FBI Series but if you like to walk on the wild side, jump right into this one. Trust me, you will be thinking, “Whoa!! This is amazing!” It’s twisted, mind-reeling, and captivating with each word that you read! Arnold’s background information and research is first-rate, accurate, and entertaining.

I am the type of reader who loves to sit down with a book and read it, first page to last, in one setting; however, I have been on a crazy schedule and had to keep hitting pause on this one. The psychological torment had left its “remnants” (see what I did there?) so I broke down and put everything else aside until I finished. If you love a book that makes you believe the evidence right in front of you, this is not the book for you. You will question and re-question everything that passes your eyes. Fantastic read!

Truly, Madly, Whiskey by +Melissa Foster, New York Times Bestselling Author and Chocoholic - "what a story" says +Debbie Denny of Espacular Aiesa.

Oh My! Oh My! Oh My!!! This is a head-on struggle with my emotions. What a story. Bear is rugged and a little scuffed, but sexy and loyal to the core. Crystal sometimes can not see her future for her past, even tho she thinks she has put that all behind her. As her feelings for Bear escalate, the past rears its ugly head. Now I will not give anything away, but I had overwhelming vicious feelings for her family!!! I love these two characters and how Melissa made their encounters and feelings erupt off the pages. Once more Melissa Foster…. I applaud you!

IN Defiance by +John Mefford {Book Review}

IN Defiance starts right away with (triggering) action and does not slow down. I was gripped from the beginning to see what would happen and I hated putting the book down. (I fell asleep more than once with the book in my hands!)

The book starts with a quick peek into Ivy’s childhood and goes into a situation with one of her foster kids.

I love a good ‘puzzle’ and that was definitely what this was. While no one wants to think a kid did something wrong – like murder – sometimes evidence says otherwise. But when a child has a messed up childhood; psychology takes over.

There are a lot of shady characters and a lot of psychology. Plus there is Ivy’s background and a couple other seedy situations that left me turning pages.

I loved this book and cannot wait to read more in the Ivy Nash series. I have always been a fan of John Mefford’s writing and I think he’s getting better!

Dead Lawyers Don't Lie by Mark Nolan {Book Review}

I love the thriller genre so I was excited to be able to read this book. There is nothing like trying to figure out who done it before everyone else does.

I was pulled in immediately from page one. A slimy lawyer that no one likes being threatened within the first few pages – who wouldn’t get sucked in to see what happens. Especially when said slimy lawyer starts something that needs to end.

I love nothing more than a good thriller that leaves your heart pounding as you race to read what is going to happen next. Plus, I am a born detective so trying to figure out the who kept me thoroughly engaged in the book.

I really enjoyed reading this book and cannot wait to read more.

Rescued by Love by +Melissa Foster, New York Times Bestselling Author and Chocoholic

Oh me, oh my. Unlike any other Melissa Foster book I have read; I loved this one too! It was definitely an interesting change to have the female not want the relationship and the man to want more in the start, but dang! This book was hot.

I loved the bantering and the flirting. The chemistry was hot. The relations were… wow.

Addison and Jake clearly were made for each other. They are both quite similar with their big heads (and egos) but together – they really were something else.

I loves that every book Melissa does, allows us to catch up with past characters while we fall in love with the main characters (characters we briefly hear about in past books.)

While they all can technically be read as stand alone books; you won’t want to read just one. They are far too hot to stop at one!
