“I want to see you.

Know your voice.

Recognize you when you
first come 'round the corner.

Sense your scent when I come
into a room you've just left.

Know the lift of your heel,
the glide of your foot.

Become familiar with the way
you purse your lips
then let them part,
just the slightest bit,
when I lean in to your space
and kiss you.

I want to know the joy
of how you whisper

Love this by Vanessa Martir about Brooklyn, Bushwick in particular.

I used to teach here. I have very different memories of the place but haven't been back in a long time. Sounds like things have changed a lot.
Every so often, when you walk around aimlessly, when you get off the main avenues, walk away from the bulldozers and the cranes and the development that just went up with its terraces and Art Deco architecture, away from the cafés and juice ba...

We left NYC in 2007 looking for a new place to call home and traveled for almost 3 years before we found a place to call ours.

This is why we chose Salta over all other places in the world.
"Why Salta?" people ask me all the time. Friends. Family. People I've met through this blog and even from Saltenos. All want to know why an American family would settle here. The answer is simple.

I met Andy about 5 years ago, and he asked to interview me for his website.

Since then, I've watched his business grow. I've seen how he's developed his career, social media and his own business.

So... this is something to hear.
Loved being on the Happen To Your Career show.  Fun, but serious, conversation about careers and how mine was a very long journey.

It was, simply, an amazing week.
I'm back from Costa Rica and can barely describe how amazing the retreat was. +Samasati Nature Retreat was the perfect setting for a cloistered world of quiet and creativity.

We watched 10 women discover what they already knew -- how talented they all are. That they have much to share with the world. +Leigh Shulman and I are excited to announce when the next retreat is taking place!

Ignore the headline that goes with this. For whatever reason it's wrong. Instead, this is a list of wonderful stories that are so short, you don't have an excuse not to read them.

Besides, they're great stories. My favorite is Story of an Hour. I also quite love Margaret Atwood's Happy Endings. Fantastic.
What's that? Your job leaves you with scarcely enough time or energy to cook occasional healthy meals, let alone lose yourself in a great book? We're sure you're busy, but we're incredulous, especially considering your fervent opinions on "The M...

Another post about #Salta   #argentina ! This one more practical.

Your entrance to the country gives you three months. Then you must either leave or renew your visa.

People often ask me what happens if you just overstay your visa. Usually, nothing, but no one can guarantee that.
You've been in Argentina on a tourist visa and your 90 days is swiftly reaching an end. What are you going to do?
