Disruptive Tech is not always good - A retrospective.

Privacy Hangout, hosted by IEEE and focused on AR and the "digital layer"  come join us!

As the use of mobile Augmented Reality (AR) becomes more pervasive, companies and individuals are exploring many new opportunities to simplify their lives and streamline their businesses. Most AR systems are delivering information just-in-time in small, context-sensitive bites, and are also capable of capturing every movement and adapting over time with use. The same sensors are also capturing the faces of those who are un-intentionally in the camera’s field of view.  The panelists gathered for this session are experts in information privacy, identity management and personal data. They will share their opinions about the impacts AR may have on corporate and personal privacy.
This Hangout On Air is hosted by IEEE Standards Association. The live video broadcast will begin soon.

Story
Tagline
Business & Digital Media Strategist; Connector of Dots and People; Dog & People Lover, Runs with Scissors
Introduction

I am described as a strategist with executional muscle, a connector, communicator, design thinker, creative problem solver and an evangelist for the creation of great online and offline experiences.

As a 20-year veteran in business and digital media strategy, I swing wide and hit deep, helping companies define their future vision and move toward it with confidence -- empowered by the right teams, good process, smart methodologies and leading technologies and good management principles.

I am active the social grid but choose to spend most of my time kicking butt for my clients, caring for others, learning and growing.  I believe real clout and influence are garnered this way -- based on what we DO in life, not on what we claim and certainly not based on social media rankings.

So, you'll find me mostly working with my head down, serving some of the best high tech, retail, blue-chip, non-profit and SMB clients in the world.

You'll also find me with my family, on the beach, playing with my lab, reading, writing, drawing, volunteering, singing, praying, snapping photos and proving Martha Stewart is indeed, a Femme Bot.
