These Amish Cinnamon Rolls with Caramel Frosting have a secret ingredient that makes them so soft and light and the frosting is to die for good!
#cinnamonrollshttp://www.yourhomebasedmom.com/amish-cinnamon-rolls-caramel-frosting/
The addition of mashed potatoes to these Amish Cinnamon Rolls makes for a soft and light roll and the caramel frosting is perfection. It’s that time of year again at our house and here on the blog. You can pretty much count on me posting a new cinnamon roll recipe twice a year, in April and in October (or almost October) I’ve talked about this family tradition here on the blog before, just about every April and October when our church broadcast...

Give me all the Pumpkin Spice. Adding pumpkin and pumpkin pie spice to my favorite cinnamon roll cake recipe was one of the best decisions I made this week!http://www.yourhomebasedmom.com/pumpkin-spice-cinnamon-roll-cake/ #pumpkin #pumpkin spice #cinnamonroll
Pumpkin Spice season is here and I couldn’t be more excited and this Pumpkin Spice Cinnamon Roll Cake is the perfect way to kick it off. I’m a big pumpkin spice fan. One of my favorite fall treats is a pumpkin spice steamer from Starbucks. I’ve been on a bit of a pumpkin binge lately and have already made my first pumpkin pie. I’ve been adding pumpkin spice to anything I can! Today’s recipe is an old favorite of mine and one I originally shared...

These Levain Bakery Copycat Cookies are spot on! Now I don't have to wait for a trip to NYC to enjoy one! #cookies   #copycat
http://www.yourhomebasedmom.com/levain-bakery-chocolate-peanut-butter-cookies/
These babies are amazing and just as good as the real thing! Levain Bakery Chocolate Peanut Butter Cookies are worth standing in line for but so much easier to make at home! I have visited my daughter three times in the last year since she has moved to NYC. Each time I go we explore new bakeries and restaurants but there is one place I go every time I am there – Levain Bakery. There is always a line and I always wait. Their cookies are amazing...

Huli Huli Chicken is the Hawaiian version of BBQ Chicken - delicious and easy! #chicken   #chickenrecipes   http://www.yourhomebasedmom.com/huli-huli-chicken/
Huli Huli chicken is the Hawaiian version of BBQ’d chicken. In Hawaiian, huli huli means turn turn. The chicken is aptly named because you turn it on the grill! This recipe is done on the grill but can definitely be done in the oven if you don’t have a grill available or it’s just too cold or rainy outside to stand over a grill! Huli huli chicken is marinaded in what is a Hawaiian BBQ sauce – a combination of pineapple juice, soy sauce, bro...

Need to feed a crowd or are you just plain hungry!? Check out this Pan Pizza - plenty of pizza real estate to personalize to everyone's tastes! #pizza, #dinnerideashttp://www.yourhomebasedmom.com/pan-pizza/
Need to feed a crowd, aka the family? Have a bunch of hungry teenagers? Pan Pizza to the rescue! I love a good thin crust pizza but sometimes you just need a nice thick piece of pizza. And sometimes you need to feed a lot of hungry people. When that happens, and especially when they both happen at the same time, pan pizza is the best solution. One of the things I love most about pan pizza, besides the sheer size of it, is that because of it’s...

Beef Tinga is a traditional Mexican dish that is full of great flavor and so versatile. The family will love it!
http://www.yourhomebasedmom.com/beef-tinga/
Beef Tinga is a traditional Mexican dish full of lots of great flavor. This post is sponsored by Cans Get You Cooking but all opinions are my own. I just returned from a trip to Utah. I always have a hard time getting back into a cooking routine when I’ve been traveling and on vacation. It always takes me a few days to get back into a routine, I call it re-entry and I struggle with it. I usually come home to an empty refrigerator and so I head...

Went in and purchased a bed two weeks ago. It was to be delivered on Sunday - no show. Have sent numerous texts and left several phone message and nothing! Hoping I eventually get my bed. Addition: Happy to say I did finally get a return call and my bed was delivered today!
