The last couple of years I've enjoyed listening to TNT (Tech News Today) with Tom Merritt, Iyaz Akhtar, and others. Well all good things must come to an end, as they say. I find TWIT almost unbearable due to John C. Dvorak. If I wanted to listen to him, I'd download HIS shows. I don't, and I don't.
TNT fired Tom and lost Iyaz to another network leaving Sarah Lane and Mike Elgin. I'm sorry but no. Mike Elgin has the personality of a rock. A small rock. A small, utterly boring, rock. Sarah isn't a great deal better, she smacks her lips just before she starts speaking every time and it makes me want to stick a hypodermic needle in both ears.
Leo, do something about it. You can't expect people to keep listening to this. Elgin has to go. Sarah is tolerable if sitting opposite someone with some flair.
I'm down to listening to only Security Now. Heaven help TWIT if Steve Gibson decides to go elsewhere.

My most significant achievements in the field to date are:
1) Reverse Engineering of Microsoft Volume Shadow Copies
2) Establishing and Presenting the Annual Forensic 4cast Awards
My work on Volume Shadow Copies came about because of the difficulties facing forensic investigators in this area. I felt that, in order to assist in the investigating of Windows Vista and Windows 7 computers, these files needed to be fully understood. After several months of research I published my findings on my website.
The Forensic 4cast Awards is, as far as I am aware, the only vendor-neutral award ceremony for digital forensics organisations and individuals. The awards were started in 2009 and, since then, I have been asked to attend the SANS Forensic Summit each year, to host the awards show.
The awards are nominated and voted for by digital forensic practitioners across the world.
I have had the privilege of giving presentations in both the US and UK on several topics, including my research into Volume Shadow Copies.
I host the popular digital forensics podcast Forensic 4cast. This is very rewarding as I am able to meet and learn from others in the field. It also has afforded me the opportunity to discuss important issues relating to the field.
