While Australia's largest wine production region is South Australia, don’t discount wine regions along the East Coast. Remember these names!

I love being a Google Local Guide! Where ever I go, I try to review, offer advice and answer questions to other travelers that may visit a place, a store, business, restaurant, or area. I've recently achieved my Level 4 Badge, (and didn't even know it) -- because I post helpful info routinely, as part of my day.

I'm now based out of Rehoboth Beach, Delaware (USA), a charming and lively little beach town on the Mid-Atlantic east coast. Located an easy 2.5 hr drive from Washington, D.C., Rehoboth is known as 'The Nation's Summer Capital" because so many Washingtonians flee the city every summer to this wonderful town. It is consistently listed on Top Places to Live, Top Places to Retire, Best Family Beach, Best USA Beaches, Cleanest Water, LGBTQ-friendly towns, etc.

However, I was surprised to see that there is no Google Local Guides community here, so I've created one. It's called Delaware Beaches Local Guides, to encompass Rehoboth Beach, Dewey Beach, Bethany Beach, Lewes, and the surrounding inland areas in what we locals affectionately call LSD or Lower Slower Delaware!!!

If you are in the Mid-Atlantic area, and know and love our beautiful Delaware Beaches, I encourage you to come on over and join us. In this community, you'll be able to connect with other Local Guides, ask questions, get answers, and stay abreast of all the terrific events and activities going on in the Delaware Beach area. Also feel free to add posts that relate to the area.

(Once we get 50 members, we will officially be recognized and supported by Google, so please consider joining our community!)
