The Lebanese Taverna Baltimore restaurant is located in Harbor East, an exciting urban development in walking distance from the Inner Harbor, Baltimore aquariam, and Fells Point. The beautiful interior features tall windows that look out on the water and ceilings that billow down like the sails of a ship.

I have been there 3 times, first time was for a work Christmas party. At that moment i fell in love with the hommus, the lamb shawarma hommus is the BEST hommus i have had hands down in Baltimore. Two weeks later I took my mother here for her birthday. Half of our meal was eating Hommus. The shawarma hummos was still as good as the first time and the spicy hommus was delish as well. Their food is also just as good. I recommend the Chicken Farrouj, camel wings, lamb shank, and creme brulee. I will defiantly be making more trips in the future.

This is my favorite place in Baltimore, and I eat there any chance I get. The hummus is flavorful and smooth, bread hot and fresh, grape leaves and spinach pie the best thing I have put in my mouth. Even the schwarma is awesome - get the lamb/beef, always. You don't come to middle eastern restaurant and NOT have their lamb. All the food is spiced perfectly, causing the flavors to dance on your tongue. Even the ice cream and bread pedding is a must. Here's the one down side, a friend of mine had their bouillabaisse and didn't like it. So stay away from that one thing. Everything else? AWEEEESOME.

Best hummus in US. Wait staff so nice and asked if anyone had allergies. Since I couldn't have dairy, she knew exactly what I could have from the menu. She even found a desert! Food is progressive and aromatic. Great location on waterfront and decor is amazing!

Don't get what all the hooplah is about. This place is mediocre at best. The food is pretty decent but the ambiance and service are poor. The dessert we got (Um Ali) was bad--like oatmeal with whipped cream on top.

I went here for a weekday dinner. We were seated in a spot where the air conditioning was pouring over us, despite it being a wet, cold, rainy day. Our table was really off balance and would tip back and forth with about a 1.5 inch clearance. The service was abysmal. It took 15 minutes for the server to even greet us after we had been sat. He took our drink orders and appetizer order and brought those out promptly. He didn't come back to take our order for at least another 15 minutes. Anytime we asked for a refill of something, he took his sweet time getting out to us. Just from observing, I noticed that he was one of those servers who care more about getting the check taken care of than his guests, as he passed us up several times to deal with a check. The food was well made, but the portions were tiny and the plate arrangements were strange. My plate was drowned in parsley, and while I realize that its a common ingredient in Arab-Mediterranean cuisine, it was far too much. So we paid a lot of money for a very small, oddly arranged portion and got horrible service and a very uncomfortable atmosphere. I won't be going back.

This restaurant was amazing! Our waitress was so informative and patient. She even brought us a free dessert because she just knew we would like it! All the food was prepared perfectly. I highly recommend this restaurant.
