We are pleased to announce that a Java engineer, Srinivas, has joined the learningdollars.com network of rockstar engineers. We are so proud of Srinivas for his work.

A message from Srinivas himself:

Hi! I am Srinivas, a Java engineer who specializes in J2EE, Web Services, Spring, Hibernate, Progress BPM, Reporting tools like ESpreadsheet, BirtViewer and UI frameworks like Jquery, JSF, and bootstrap. I have recently started working on projects using Django and React JS. I have done projects in the domains of healthcare, finance, and utilities. I have taken courses in Cloud Computing and Big Data.

What sets me apart from other engineers is a drive to take up challenges in areas or domains I’m new to. I am also a good listener. I listen to ideas stated by each and every team member with an open mind.

If you'd like to view our engineers' resumés, watch their self-made screencasted project demos, and hire talent, shoot us a message and we'll make the talent introduction.

We also accept client referrals. Please consult learningdollars.com/#referrals for further information.

I began to think. The world rewards with fame those with the ability to focus — with the ability to do something every day and be the best at it. … those with undying passion for what they do, who don’t care about anything else. addicts in a sense. https://gobidasu.com/2018/05/12/the-time-i-went-to-mozarts-vienna/

In essence, when you run your business, run it like a businessperson. Use your school network and brand but plan (yes plan!) all interactions and ensure they are professional and in tune with the business model.

First you charge for 5 hours and then 20 hours at a time. Like gas in the car, as the balance goes down clients can fund more hours, but you don’t have to go invoice-chasing ever. Both sides win. Clients can spend incrementally as you both build trust and understanding, but you as the firm do not lose money and time.

From Pillows Party Hostel (was ok), to the pub by the church, to the solemn Auschwitz, Poland offered me a variety of experiences. The country was dominated by Germany and Russia for many years, but it is emerging into a developed nation (3K gdp per capita away from the 15K cutoff). While I didn’t meet software engineers on my trip to Poland, I’m sure they’re bringing in significant sums of money into the country to push it towards developed status. The nation, despite turmoil in its past and exploitation, has an incredibly high human development index today. A sad and tough past, but a bright future.
