Yulia has already had some training but decided to continue her course with Bob. On this first lesson Bob is trying to figure out where Yulia is and what she might wish to learn next. Her starts by explaining how the student learning centred approach works (also know as client centred learning). Bob is training all LDC driving instructors to train in this manner.

Danielle Lesson 15 with Bob
Danielle is very happy with her progress so far and is not sure what she would like to work on today so Bob suggests she might use more advanced driving techniques and in particular improve her forward planning.  As usual Bob is using LDC's unique student-centred approach to learning to drive.

The LD System is based on over 25 years of perfecting the process of learning to drive. It enables the student to decide what, where, when and how they might go about this process. This is achieved by supplying the student with a workbook and accompanying DVD video programme (and/or access to the online App version of the LD System in the students’ hub section of the trainers website) with suitable encouragement and support from their trainer.

When student-centred learning is combined with the LD System programme and resources (i.e. Workbook and Videos) you will see how learning to drive can be speeded up, how it can make learning extremely enjoyable and how it can help you to become a better decision maker and thus a safer driver.

Nicola is training to become a driving instructor with LDC. In this session Nicola decides to look at the Part Three Pedestrian crossings and use of signals. However, the session starts with a review of Core Competencies Teaching process following her last session with Bob.

Candy's LDC driving school - Worcester

THE LD SYSTEM WHICH CANDY USES IS FABULOUS
"Candy Roberts is such an amazing driving instructor, I would 100% recommend her to anybody wanting to learn how to drive. She helped me so much and we spent lots of time together throughout the months. The lessons were really good and fun. The LD system which she uses is fabulous, at the beginning of learning how to drive students are given an LDC workbook which has all the information about each topic throughout driving. Also students are able to set themselves targets for each lesson and Candy goes through them at the start of the lesson."

Danielle's 13th lesson with Bob

Danielle hasn't a specific plan in mind so Bob suggests a couple of things she might like to tackle. In the end Bob suggests more manoeuvre work.

As usual Bob is using LDC's unique student-centred approach to learning to drive.

The LD System is based on over 25 years of perfecting the process of learning to drive. It enables the student to decide what, where, when and how they might go about this process. Well done Hannah and Neill.

www.passwithneill.co.uk - Hannah

Neill was a great driving instructor and very patient throughout the entire time I was learning to drive. He would never lose his temper/get annoyed if I made mistakes, he would take the time to go over what I had done and helped me to rectify it. The work book provided to me by Neill helped me to go into my lessons with an understanding of what I needed to do, this meant that I was able to go into all my lessons with a good level of confidence.
After starting my lessons in December last year, when it finally came to passing my test I felt calm and prepared and I passed on my first attempt with only 5 minors. I would thoroughly recommend Neill to anyone who was looking to learn how to drive.

Thanks,
Hannah HA4
