--Kia Ruiz is a yoga instructor who hails from Denver, CO. She is married and has two precious boys. Known among the Mamavation community for her wisdom and ever-helpful advice, Kia stays busy teaching yoga, hiking, cycling, swimming, running, and strength training. Cooking naturally comes easy to her, she says, and she is a holistic health seeker who strives to find ways to use the least amount of toxic products as she can. Kia is trained as an ecologist who cut her toxic-free life chops in the field with the interface of environmental change and wildlife populations. She also taught human and marine biology to university students and continues to share knowledge with others. Kia is taking a hiatus from the outdoor world while her little ones thrive in her home of Colorado. +Jean Layton
-- Dr. Jean Layton is a Naturopathic Physician who has been focused on finding a better way to heal after losing her first husband to cancer. She is married to Ed, a Licensed Acupuncturist with a Masters of Oriental Medicine, and has twin daughters who are now 15 years old. 7 years ago, the family discovered issues with gluten intolerance and have been living gluten-free every since, including her twin daughters. In her private practice, she specializes in Celiac disease and gluten intolerance.
