It has been a mixed bag of good and bad news for the Lebanon County Housing Authority in recent months.
First the bad news.
The authority has seen its federal operating grant dramatically reduced. And a senior apartment project it had hoped to build failed to receive the tax credits necessary to finance the project.
Now the good.
The agency that manages more than 400 apartments for seniors and other families received high ratings for its management practices from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development.
