A memorial service for Gordon Cargill will be held in the McDonald Moody Auditorium on Wednesday, July 9, at 2pm. The Cargill family ask that rather than flowers, mourners make donations to the Gordon and Bettie Cargill Scholarship fund. Read more about the impact Gordon left on his LCU family.

Future LCU Bible major, Samantha Wheeler, encouraged teenagers at Encounter to start making a difference in their own backyard. Wheeler and her youth group at South Plains Church of Christ have raised $10,000 in the past three years selling these bracelets to buy goats for families in the Philippines.
