Deep into Dusk just won the Los Angeles Book Festival in the "sequel" category.  Gabriel will be so happy, even if he had to stumble with the wrong woman to do it! Here's the book: http://amzn.to/1bXSkVz

Introduction
Laurie Stevens is an novelist, screenwriter, and playwright. The Dark Before Dawn is the first in her psychological thriller series which deals with the fear we face in facing our fears. The second book is Deep into Dusk.  Laurie's work has appeared in magazines and anthologies. When she is not writing she is running her publishing company, working with her husband in a closeout merchandise business, and being a wife and mother!
Bragging rights
The Dark Before Dawn was named to Kirkus Review's Best of 2011, earned a Kirkus Star of Merit, and was honored at the 2012 Hollywood Book Festival. My screenplay "The Long Way Home" was honored at the Writer's Digest Writing Competition, Television/Film Screenwriting Category. Mostly, I have some very good friends, a great husband and two kids I cherish. That's what I'm most proud of.
