Hi. I wondered if anyone has advise on task start or due date...

Lets say I have a task that is going to take several days, or even a week. For example "Build website". I dont add all the sub-tasks for this because I dont care when the sub tasks are done when, I just want that main task done by a certain date.

But then when the assigned person looks at their Today tasks for example, it may not be in there, its not due today. So actually they may miss this task as it does not have a Start Date.

So how do others get around this? Do you enter two tasks, one to Start Task, one to Finish Task. Or do you use the Due date as the start, or do you leave the Due as it is and somehow people will know when to start it OK.

Thanks

Did you do it yet? I would love to do this. I wish such a setup could be easily setup using some GUI interface in Linode or something, the technical steps to set up a HA cluster must take quite a while to get right. We'd like to offer it to customers, but set that up per customer would be a right PITA. Wouldn't it be great to be able to roll out a HA cluster in a few clicks!

Just have to share this amazing Chrome extension. HSBC will NOT put me off using their own website!

We have an iMac 27" for sale, £850 + vat. It's hardly used and being wasted at the moment, considering it's such an amazing computer! It's a mid-2010 model, 3.2 GHz Intel Core i3 (MC510B/A).

They retail at over £1100+vat so it's a bargain considering how good a condition it is in! Get in touch if interested.

Abandoned Google Drive, just didn't work! Too many un-synced documents and errors all the time. Back to Dropbox, for now.
