I've Created a Monster: Cake Batter Oreo Cookies!

Well Sally actually created the recipe. I just like to experiment with all of her amazing baked goods on sallysbakingaddiction.com :) After making over 10 of the recipes posted on the site, I must admit that I (and my friends and family) have been nothing short of impressed and delighted with each bite.

PS +Christine Cohrs I need my taste tester/quality control expert back!

Staring into an empty void is more interesting than Facebook despite the similarities between the two.

Only 6 months until graduation, yippee! Wait... that's soon. Advice, anyone?

Over the past few months I have become entrenched in the great journey of The Job Search. As many of you are aware, it is often met with the most inexplicable combination of overwhelming excitement, anticipation, and bewilderment. Unforgettable memories of college experiences, friends, and liberties flash before your eyes as you accept the unavoidable fact that your life will forever change as you are up on that stage receiving your diploma.

But as I entertain the ideas and possibilities for my life after graduation (A.G.), I am all the more thrilled to embark on this new adventure. There are so many amazing opportunities that lie ahead; opportunities that will require me to make one of the most important decisions in my life. Looking through my feed I've noticed a lot of you plussers have graduated and begun careers, or already have years of experience- what advice could you offer to soon-to-be college grads?

Congrats +Lauren Cohrs !
I'm sure you will find a great job!
I took two months off after failing to find a job within the first month of my graduation (low point).  Spent the next three padding my resume and gaining experience where I could get it.  Now, in the seventh month after graduation, I was offered and accepted a six figure position with an energy company (yay!).  Have faith in yourself and your worth and you will make it. I have faith in you!
GL out there!

With two weeks left of my internship with HP, I am deeply saddened by the prospect of retiring my position as the cookie girl. What will happen to cubicle life when sweet, love-filled (or maybe that's just sugar) homemade cookies are no longer brought on Mondays?

What better way to end the week than homemade Salted Caramel Dark Chocolate Cookies?

I'm not too picky when it comes to cookies... nor chocolate... nor anything related to the two for that matter. But, this recipe from Sally's Baking Addiction is unlike anything I have ever experienced. This is pure sweetness, chewiness, and gooeyness, all in a few bites of melty dark chocolate-caramel heaven. I highly recommend checking out Sally's site and trying her recipes for yourself. You will be glad you did.

And to +Sally McKenney thank you for your delightful recipes. I cannot wait to try out more. Neither can my family. and neither can my taste buds :)

here's the recipe: http://sallysbakingaddiction.com/2013/03/01/salted-caramel-dark-chocolate-cookies/

Introduction
I take pride in being a Houston-grown technology and adventure enthusiast, as well as a current business student studying MIS (Management Information Systems) at the University of Arizona. Bear Down! My most recent ventures include process streamlining and data manipulation at Hewlett-Packard as a Global Business Process Management intern. Between the years of 2012-2014 I honed my knowledge of search engine optimization and project management, contributing to internet development as a copywriter at drumBEAT Marketing. Apart from my occupation and education, I enjoy art, hiking, athletics, long walks on the beach, margaritas, sitting by warm, flickering fires, and peanut butter. In short, I'm a spontaneous, nerdy college chick with a passion for achieving extraordinary things in life.
