Congratulations to the Home Cooking Community's new owner, +HappyFoods !

I love this community so much, and I've deeply enjoyed sharing in all the delicious things we've cooked and eaten together.  But I haven't had the time to devote to it that I'd like.  Thankfully, fellow member +HappyFoods is generously  taking over for me.  I'm so excited to have someone so wonderful step up and continue making this a great community that we all  come back and share delicious meals with.  I look forward to seeing how the community grows.

Hi everyone,
While I have very much enjoyed this community and seeing delicious food pics and recipes from amazing home chefs around the world, beginners and experts alike, I am finding it hard to set aside time to devote to maintaining this community anymore.  
IS ANYONE ELSE INTERESTED IN TAKING OVER OWNERSHIP OF THIS COMMUNITY?  

It's not an arduous task, but it does require daily sweeps through to welcome new members and to keep spam from cluttering the conversation.  I would very much like to see the community continue to grow and thrive, but I lack the time to see that through.

I don't cook much when I get busy but I always miss it. Off work today so I treated myself: blackened steak with fried corn salad

Dark chocolate-stuffed chocolate chunk and sea salt cookies :) they were delicious! stuffed them with Dove dark chocolate candies.

Made short rib bolognese from scratch: braised short ribs with carrots, onions, celery, garlic, anchovy and tomato paste, demi glace, San Marzano tomatoes, and cremini mushrooms.  Served with fresh tagliatelle and black pepper pecorino romano.

It was cold and rainy here today, so it was a good day for braised short ribs.

Grilled pizzas last night.  I love doing that; we roll the crust out thin and it gets nice and crispy and then we pile it with our favorite toppings.  Mine is olive oil, goat cheese, arugula, prosciutto, and a little grated parm; my husband's is a classic American-style cheese and pepperoni.  It took like 20 minutes to make these and they were filling but not heavy or greasy like regular pizza can be.
