Is anyone from this group signed up for the "War for the Greater Middle East" class offered through Boston University / EdX? I'm just about finished with the Week 1 lectures (Carter administration policies) and it offers quite a bit to think about.

Is anyone from this group taking the "War for the Greater Middle East" offered through Boston University / EdX? It launched today... I'll admit I'm not a huge fan of the EdX platform, but I did register to see what this one would be about...

While we do not have the video for the Week 1.1 lecture, many student volunteers worked tirelessly to create detailed lecture transcripts. Please feel free to translate and share with friends and interested individuals who are non-native English speakers. Your thoughtful contributions and comments are welcome.

While we currently do not have a complete set of lecture videos available to share, we do have full lecture transcripts (in American English) and the official course bibliography. The list provides the required and suggested readings. Links are provided for online articles. If you have difficulty accessing, please post a comment and we'll investigate.

As the Coursera-University of Copenhagen, Faculty of Law course, Constitutional Struggles in the Muslim World will not be offered for the fall 2014 semester, members of the prior class have decided to share the educational materials we have saved with those who are interested in the topic. Please consider joining and spreading the word to those who might be interested! Stay tuned for lecture notes, videos, and reading materials...
