Is anyone from this group signed up for the "War for the Greater Middle East" class offered through Boston University / EdX? I'm just about finished with the Week 1 lectures (Carter administration policies) and it offers quite a bit to think about.

I really like it too. He brings out some good points for consideration. And I'm learning a lot about US involvement in the ME.

Japan provides a great example to emulate and is very worthy of deeper research.

There was a student in the class who worked as a graphic designer and created some beautiful and informative visual lecture notes. (I wish I could remember his name...) Well worth a look...

Thank you, +Jacirendi Xakhar , I hope those people will make the decision to share! As the future of the class is so uncertain, being able to preserve a record of the lectures is important for both the immediate knowledge and historical context.

While we currently do not have a complete set of lecture videos available to share, we do have full lecture transcripts (in American English) and the official course bibliography. The list provides the required and suggested readings. Links are provided for online articles. If you have difficulty accessing, please post a comment and we'll investigate.

Is anyone from this group taking the "War for the Greater Middle East" offered through Boston University / EdX? It launched today... I'll admit I'm not a huge fan of the EdX platform, but I did register to see what this one would be about...

While we do not have the video for the Week 1.1 lecture, many student volunteers worked tirelessly to create detailed lecture transcripts. Please feel free to translate and share with friends and interested individuals who are non-native English speakers. Your thoughtful contributions and comments are welcome.

The constitution isn't about laws and rules and how they apply to generations of past and present. Their meaning of it's words can be bend and twisted to fit what ever political view you have. How true to those words make a democracy strong. Constitution and democracy are one in same . Democracy and constitution must find common ground were opposing parties can have say there government. Constitutions and their democracies can't copied applied to any nation. At must have the fill and fit that the people of a nation can live with. That why nation of democracies differ from our. That's why democracies can never be a perfect union. Division in government has meant to make the branches honest .  A constitution define by political parties to fit political view is not one that doesn't represent the people.

Amber has worked with me on several revisions of my website’s design and I’ve always been impressed with her ideas, technical know-how, and willingness to answer any questions I have. I would (and do) highly recommend her services to anyone needing a website/blogging platform. She has the rare ability to capture the essence of your work and translate that into a unique web presence.
