#Lightroom users: it's time to create your 2017 copyright preset!

Using a "metadata preset" to add your copyright and contact information won't put the information directly on your photos, it will instead put it in the data that tags along with your photos. If someone comes across your photos and wants to use them, there is then information in the files to inform them of who owns them and how to get in touch with you.

In the video tutorial at the link below, I show you how to create a new preset or edit your old one, how to apply it to new images, and how to apply one to older images.

Brian Hughes summarizing: "“What’s really important to remember here is that everything I do in one place is available to me in other places – that’s a modern, cloud-native, non-destructive experience – from raw capture to pro-grade editing anywhere.”

It's not clear where this fits with #Lightroom. Read more about it on my blog:

Adobe today released an update to Lightroom mobile for iOS - now you can shoot raw files if your iPad or iPhone has a 12 MP camera and iOS 10. Read more about it at the link below.

Android has had this capability since February - if you're running at least Android 5.0 (Lollipop) and Lightroom mobile 2.0+, and if your device manufacturer chose to include raw support. In the article below I tell you how to check for this capability.

Read about this mistake that I think Adobe made with #Lightroom  and how you can easily fix it. (If your Folders panel looks like just a list of date folders, you're missing out on most of this panel's usefulness.)
