Wow.  Bjork too?  I wish I could go...!

Me 4!  Love Bjork!  Paul McCartney, not so much...

:)  Wake up at 3am EST for day job.  Long commute!

Trust, that 1 hour commute gives me time for half of the ideas I write on.  I work four, 10-hour days (Mon-Thur)...so at least I have Fridays free...

Sometimes it's doing those "automatic" things, like driving (for me it's cooking) that allow your mind the space to brainstorm.

Definitely -- fighting writer's block by any means necessary.  Many of the artists at Bonnaroo, for example "Bjork," has music that inspires my creative juices to flow.

Music is fantastic for dealing with blocks.  You know a really helps me?  Checking out how-to posts and articles on how to write, say a piece on developing characters or how to deal with a plot hole.  Those always get me thinking about my own work and usually beat the block! I know, I'm a nerd...

Hey, my friend...a LOT of your posts on those "How To's" really helped me in that regard.  Sometimes, I just write and improvise.  That "Tetris" post that you dug so much was an example of that...pure, unadulterated id flowing.
