Laura Click is founder and CEO of Blue Kite Marketing. Laura is a problem solver who is passionate about helping businesses succeed. As founder of Blue Kite Marketing, Laura is focused on helping service-based businesses because she loves helping them create memorable and extraordinary experiences for their clients.
Throughout her career as a marketing and public relations professional, Laura has worked with Fortune 500 companies, small businesses, non-profits and government agencies. She has also developed award-winning campaigns and has spoken to groups about how to leverage social media.
A writer at heart, Laura received her Bachelor of Journalism from the University of Missouri, which also explains why she’s an avid Mizzou fan and president of her local alumni chapter.
Laura grew up on a farm in central Missouri, where she “walked beans” (ask her what that entails sometime), tended to cattle, and most importantly, learned an incredible work ethic. Laura brings the diligence and integrity she learned on the farm to her work at Blue Kite Marketing.
In her spare time, Laura loves giving back to the community and volunteers with her church and other local non-profits. She also trains for half marathons – she ran her first one in April 2010 and is training for her second one in September 2010. Laura, and her husband, Garth, live in Nashville with their chocolate lab, Bailey.
