The answer is obvious. Both objects, relative to their speed, will stop at the place of contact and spread outward. The mass of both objects will continue to spread out until all inertia stops. These were two physical objects.

Now, if you are talking metaphysics... there is no answer to the question. How does the mountain stop the concept of love? And how does the concept of love affect the mountain? Let's see... well you could create lofty fiction to form an answer. Or, not ask the question in the first place.
