Italian Food Terms: What is Pecorino Romano?
Pecorino Romano is a superb cheese, made from sheep's milk. It is one of Italy's oldest cheeses, and Romans were already making it 2000 years ago. 'Pecorino' is the Italian word for small, baby sheep.
You can enjoy this delicious cheese in many of our dishes.
