Our Chinese interpreter was busy interpreting for Chinese merchants visiting Harris Farms in Fresno, one of the best beef producers in the world. Japan, Mexico, and Korea are major beef importing countries, in that order. Imagine how much beef they can sell when 1.5 billion Chinese people want to eat tender and juicy steaks from Harris Farm. Our Spanish simultaneous were interpreting for the City Hall hearing. It is great to see so many citizens actively participating in the decisions affecting their lives.

Los Angeles is a truly cosmopolitan city. We have excellent interpreters in 200+ languages. Today our Spanish simultaneous interpreters were busy in city hall meetings where Spanish speaking citizens are gathered, while Chinese simultaneous interpreters were facilitating business meetings with Chinese buyers who flew in from China last night, while others were busy with court proceedings, depositions and medical examinations in various languages.
Interpreters facilitate communication between different languages and cultures and promote understanding among people. That is the mission of L.A. Translation and Interpretation, to improve communication among people.

Today, when the entire company is busy trying to send out projects on time, a young man with Indian accent called. He said he is calling from Quickbook and my credit card didn't go through so they needed the number. I said I would enter it to the account myself. He said he would give 20% discount if I gave him the credit card number. I said I would check my card account and call back. The number is 800-867-1268 Extension 9002. Watch out for anyone asking for your credit card number over the phone. What is the government doing, letting these people go around scamming innocent American citizens?

Our very good client attorney booked three Korean medical interpreting today but cancelled two of them this morning within 24 hours. Sorry but we need to charge them anyway, because if this happens all the time and they don't pay, the interpreters cannot make living. 24 hour cancellation policy needs to be kept to protect the interpreters. L.A. Translation and Interpretation, Inc. has a school approved by the state government to teach court and medical interpreting to students, and our graduates are actively providing court and medical interpreting in Arabic, Armenian, Mandarin, Spanish, and Korean.

Today we provided interpreters and equipment for a Los Angeles City Hall hearing. It's good to see so many people are interested and are participating in the political issues that are affecting their lives. Our Spanish interpreters Julia and Alicia provided English to Spanish simultaneous interpreting and did a marvelous job as usual. We were requested to bring 75 headsets but there were more than hundred people filling two rooms.

L.A. Translation and Interpretation, Inc. has translated millions of words of patents from foreign languages to English. We choose only the best certified translators for the job, and have an expert in the field proofread the translation, and have a professional editor to edit the translation. Since patents are very technical and require top translators, it is often not easy to find a translator who is both good at translation skills and expert knowledge. This year alone we have translated hundreds of Korean patents into English in the field of electronic engineering.

Translation and interpretation require expertise in foreign language as well as cultural competence. It is the job of breaking down communication barrier among people. AI would never replace human interpreters and translators as long as science cannot create humans, because language requires intuitive and artistic understanding. L.A. Translation and Interpretation, Inc. is proud of its French to English translators, Spanish to English translators, German to English translators, and italian to English translators for their superb and professional work. latranslation.com
