This place looks great on the outside but has horrible management and services. They charge you extra on rent for garbage, which is a IRUC violation since your garbage is included in your county taxes. The newest 'manager' Vanessa, has absolutely no clue what she is doing and is arrogant with no justification. High and mighty would be her attitude and she's an entry level employee who only was promoted because everyone else there left. Management has no clue how to take care of anything, and all they give you is an excuse and a promise to take care of things or look into. And that means they will do nothing. Definitely not worth the rent and charges they will charge you. Again, don't fall for what you see when you go to see an apartment, they snow you over and they are by far the worst place to rent from in that area. The rent controlled Trotters Pointe would be a better choice since they are regulated and checked on. Also, they make you use their internet and cable company, which is a company that they own, so they screw you on that issue. But, if you ever do want to lower your cable or internet package, they will have to do so because they did so for another tenant when they bitched about it. Just be persistent with them and turn them in if they refuse.

Very expensive for a place we had to call maintenance very frequently with issues. They were quick to respond our first week then increasingly slow to the point we would have to call multiple times. Also shortly after we moved in we noticed a smell that made it so I dreaded going home. We were late a day on one payment so they waived that fee, but then we didn't receive a bill until late for our final few days in the apartment. I tried to call to find out what we owed and no one returned my call once I finally reached someone they said the amount was on the lease but it didn't account for water and internet. Refused to admit their fault in the matter saying sending a bill is a "courtesy". Not sure how I'm supposed to pay if I don't know what amount to pay!! Sorry not handing someone a blank check. Very happy to be out of the apartments.

Make sure you ask them about their tv and Internet situation. I was not told about it. You must buy in house and it is terrible. Don't pay for the higher speeds because they cannot provide them. The apartment itself is fine. However, if you work from home, enjoy tv, Netflix, or any other activity that requires the Internet you should not move here.

DO NOT MOVE HERE. They have a fee for everything. After having to pay extra to move out a couple days before our lease was up, when we gave them 60 days notice like they asked, they slam us with a bill that was more than a month"s rent for "damages to the property". They make look nice but it was an absolute horrible experience living here

Do not move here! This apartment complex is full of incompetent workers, shotty internet & tv service, and many other maintenance issues. My roommate and I have had countless problems that needed to be immediately addressed but were never taken care of because the people in the office simply "forgot". The internet is terribly slow, goes in and out of service and the satellite tv does the same. Last month they put our rent under a different apartment number and attempted to charge us again. The hassle of dealing with their incompetence is not worth the sub-par living quality. I will never live here again and suggest you don't either.

Stay away! This place is horrible. They make you use their garbage internet and cable company, which is extremely over priced (they restrict every other company, I called all of them). I am paying 55 a month for 15 mbps, which is laughable compared to 50 mbps I could get from Comcast. This isnt even the worst...I have never gotten 15 mbps because it is a shared network meaning during peak hours I literally get 1 mbps. They say they will not do anything about it. TV is from Dish...if it rains the TV goes out. Maintenance here is also horrible, call them 5 times about a problem and they never come, and when they do they just walk in without knocking and do a lazy fix. This place is the worst and a scam...don't rent if you use the internet because you can get better speed in the Kenyan desert.

Horrible place to live. Management is so rude. I've been lied to so many times, I've lost count. Also, I've had so many maintenance issues. I had a leak in my bathroom and the toilet water from the room above me kept going all over in my bathroom. It got to the point that I was going to call a health inspector. They finally fixed the plumbing after a few days of me calling. I still have a huge hole in my ceiling because they "haven't got around" to repairing it. Paying way too much for this awful experience.

I've read through all these reviews and I honestly don't relate to ANY of the negative reviews. I'm wondering if the other reviewers may be young and not have much experience with apartment living. We moved in here a year and half ago, and yes, they HAVE had some management changes as they are continually trying to improve. I can't imagine managing a property this large is an easy task. I've lived in several apartments over the course of my life and this is hands down the BEST one ever. We have the largest of the layouts and love the fact we have a laundry ROOM and not just a laundry "closet". We have a REAL DEAL wood burning fireplace, you don't find those anywhere these days as everyone has gone to gas, and its just NOT the same. We overlook the pond and enjoy the views, the grounds are kept meticulous. The daily antics of the geese and ducks in the pond are a joy to watch. Location is PERFECT, I can be on I-65 in a minute, and I just heard a new Costco store is coming in near Emerson and County Line, yet we still have the "country" calm quiet life out here as well. I've NEVER had anyone from the staff here treat anything other than EXCEPTIONAL and genuine. We are friendly and they are more than friendly as well. They held an "apartment wide" DINNER and Party down at the clubhouse two or three times last year and CATERED ENTIRE MEALS for everyone in the complex. Seriously? WHO does this? The last place I lived wouldn't give me a cop of coffee. They don't HAVE to do things like this, they are doing it because they are trying to create a sense of community and have all the neighbors get out and meet each other. They know people will stay where they feel safe and welcome. We renewed our lease last year, and intend to do the same again this year. We will live here until we buy a home, or if we buy a home. I am SO grateful the trash is NOT near our apartment, NO smell, no flies, they were smart to put the trash compactors at the edge of the property on each end. No place is going to be perfect. If you are down to earth, and REAL and want a great place to live, you'll love it here. This place is great in my opinion!
