Last Wednesday, Yuki and Gabe participated in an Off-Campus Housing Fair at University of San Francisco. It was a great event and we thank University of San Francisco for having us. It was a pleasure meeting the many students that came to our table looking to explore the possibilities of living downtown in San Francisco. We know that it is difficult to find affordable housing during the high rent season and that's why we are here! Thank you again #USF for letting us be a part of your housing fair.

Thought it initially took long to get in contact with someone from the company you covered up really well by replying within minutes and helped me with information even at 6am in the morning. Also the building managers were available for meetings/showing rooms at suitable times. As for my roommates, it’s a mixed culture. I’m from India and my roommates are from Germany and USA. It was really nice to meet them and share our own experience. We’ve even gone sightseeing together to places like the golden gate bridge and so on. Its been a really good experience so far.

I have been at the residence a little over 6 months now. I found Latitude 38 company by doing an online search in San Francisco. Shortly after an email inquiry Maria guided me through the process. She was professional and helpful every step of the way. When I arrived at the residence Taro and the rest of the staff were very helpful. I have felt safe and secure in the residence since moving in. The place is clean and in great location. I have appreciated Latitude 38 making an affordable option for me here in San Francisco.

I chose latitude 38, because of its reasonable pricing and upkeep of its buildings. I stay at 1080 Folsom and I liked the fact the bathrooms and showers were clean, even though many people shared those facilities. The leasing representative was very prompt in our initial responses of getting me in the room that I would be residing.

I choose latitude 38 because it seemed like an easy and safe housing opportunity. And also because I got if recommended to me from a friend. I stayed at 1010 bush st. It felt very safe. It was clean and there was always someone there. People (both employees and tenants) very friendly and helpful. The cleaning service in the public areas was very good. I also liked that they checked the rooms every month to keep it fresh. If you had any problem you could just ask anyone, it was always someone available. I got bed sheets and equipment in the kitchen. Tv in the public space etc. As I already mentioned above every single Person I met at 1010 bush st was super friendly. We had a whatsapp group and people was always up to something together. If you're new in the city this Is an excellent way of meeting new friends. You are never alone there.

I choose Latitude 38 because it felt like a serious and professional company, where I got good service and quick answers to all my questions. I am staying in The Balmoral Residence club at 1010 Bush Street where I share a room with to other girls. What I like most is the central location and also that I always feel safe in the area. The aspect of Latitude´s service that I liked most was the problem solving and always getting quick answers if I had any questions. The benefits I got from staying with Latitude 38 is that I have met a lot of new people and the great location always makes it possible to easily get to everywhere in San Francisco. Living in this residence have made it easy to connect with new people and I feel like I am never alone, people are so open-minded and friendly and it is nice to be a part of that.

I am a student from the UK doing a year long placement at UCSF and needed affordable accommodation for this time. When looking on the UCSF website for housing advice, Latitude 38 was one of the first options to come up and I was able to get a room almost straight away. One of the biggest reasons that I chose my residence of 1080 Folsom is that it said it prides itself on its sense of community and seeing as I would know no-one arriving in the US, this was very attractive to me in order to meet people and I would agree that the people in 1080 Folsom are the best thing about it. The RAs were also very helpful when I was arriving an moving in especially considering that I moved in in the early hours of the morning due to plane delays. The location is also perfect for me as it gives me the perfect base to explore the city and is also only a short cycle ride away from Mission bay where I commute to every day.

I chose latitude 38 because it was one of the most affordable, safe, and cleaner options. I particularly like the relaxed vibe of the place and how people come together for movie nights and outings, since the place is populated with mostly students/ young professionals within the same age range.

San Francisco is an expensive city and having a place you can have the best of both worlds—great location and comfortable accommodations without breaking the bank—is a find, so you keep it. I loved the idea of having everything taken care of, starting from the basics—toilet paper, paper towels, kitchen utensils, a fridge in every room—to pleasant unexpected niceties: a lobby and lounge areas with tables, wi-fi included of course, a bike rack, and a cleaning person every day, a luxury in San Francisco. Not to mention getting to know people from all over the world. But the best part is the rent price: extremely reasonable. When I first came to see the place—we call it 1080, on Folsom, you can walk everywhere from here—I couldn't believe my eyes, even the RA became a great friend of mine. No wonder it's been over 2 years I'm here, and counting.
