Reading your book 'Work Rules' was a truly enriching and inspiring experience! Hopefully many 'people managers' will read it and more importantly put into practice some of the ideas and best practices you showed throughout the book. Thank you a thousand times for sharing this and my respect for the humbleness you've shown. Whithout that it wouldn't have had the authenticity and power it has now.

I am In Soo Kim who works for South Korean newspaper, Maeil Business Newspaper.
After reading your book `Work Rues'(south Korean language version), I was obsessed with one question. In your book, you repeatedly said that performance evaluation and performance development are different and managers should not talk about both issues at the same time. If it is true, I think that giving great bonus and salaries to your top employees is not related with performance development in Google. Am I right?
