What happened to the rain? Got a wee bit this morning, but now it is full on sun again, and even Grammarly is complaining.

Yellowstone wolves are causing a tropic cascade of ecological change, including helping to increase beaver populations and bring back aspen, and vegetation.

Looks good. Talks about pacing yourself, setting realistic goals and keeping expectations realistic.

Favorite things about the tiger, other than it being a big, beautiful cat?

It's an apex predator, top of the food chain, and it needs to be saved. Not only for its own sake, but also for our sake. Like most other apex predators, it keeps the population of other animals in check. This ensures that a healthier and stronger population (of both predator and prey), which in turn affects the entire ecosystem.

Looks like we're slowly learning that removing the predator at the top of the food chain isn't always a good thing.

Hopefully, we'll learn this about wolves and sharks soon too.

It’s a toothy giant that can grow longer than a horse and heavier than a refrigerator, a fearsome-looking prehistoric fish that plied U.S. waters from the Gulf of Mexico to Illinois until it disappeared from many states a half-century ago.

If you’re going to put up a kitchen garden, what’s in it for you? The most obvious reason is nourishment. It helps make sure that you get most of the nutrients that you need from veggies sans the chemicals that most commercial produce are exposed to. To make your own kitchen garden, here are the […]

Absolutely one of the best restaurants we've been to. The atmosphere, the staff, the food, all of it was super. Definitively a place we'll be going back to. The food, which I guess is the main reason people want to look at reviews, was great. I had the Texas Sirloin steak, which was melts-in-your-mouth good. Served with perfectly cooked potatoes, asparagus and caramelized onions (and I think that was a cognac sauce). If you like steak, you won't be disappointed. My father had the braised short rib, which he said was one of the best things he had ever tasted. All the other things on the menu looks equally tempting, and picking the right meal will likely be your hardest choice of the week.
