M33 - Triangulum-Galaxy - 30.12.2015

SW150PDS - HEQ5pro - EOS1000Da - MPCC MkIII
5x300s - 800ISO - No Flats - No Darks

Unfortunately the wind was so strong, that I had to call it a night after 10 subs and was left with just 5 usable frames to stack. Also there are strong dust specks in the image. Obviously I wasn't careful enough modifying my camera. Seems like I have to open it again to remove the dust.

Info on the subject(Wikipedia):
The Triangulum Galaxy is a spiral galaxy approximately 3 million light-years (ly) from Earth in the constellation Triangulum. It is catalogued as Messier 33 or NGC 598, and is sometimes informally referred to as the Pinwheel Galaxy, a nickname it shares with Messier 101. The Triangulum Galaxy is the third-largest member of the Local Group of galaxies, which includes the Milky Way, the Andromeda Galaxy and about 44 other smaller galaxies. It is one of the most distant permanent objects that can be viewed with the naked eye.
The galaxy is the smallest spiral galaxy in the Local Group and it is believed to be a satellite of the Andromeda Galaxy due to their interactions, velocities and proximity to one another in the night sky. It also has an H-II nucleus.

My second DSO:
M45 - Pleiades
11x120s ISO200
10x300s ISO200
26x300s ISO400
Total: 3h 22m
SW150PDS, HEQ5pro, EOS1000D unmod.
I'm quite pleased with the result.
Clear skies ... Lars

YAA - Yet another Andromeda ;)

So langsam bekomme ich das Gefühl für PixInsight. Diese Version ist deutlich weniger überschärft. Allerdings gehen sehr viele Details bei der Konvertierung in JPEG verloren, so dass das Bild förmlich 'entstellt' wird.

I begin to get the hang of PixInsight. This version is reedited so that it is way less sharpened without wasting detail. Unfortunately the image gets 'blemished' in the process of converting to JPEG.

Hi folks,

I need some help with AutoWear. I upgraded to a new watch and ran the setup assistant again. Everything worked fine and I let the assistant configure the Voice Screen so that when I say 'Run command' (in German: 'Starte Befehl') the Voice screen should appear. I have checked that the "&appopenedcommand&" is in the show commandline and that the App 'Befehl' is checked in the settings and visible in the watches app drawer. Although, when I say the command above, instead of opening the Voice Screen, I get the 'opening App' screen and AutoWear settings will be opened.
Can anybody tell me what's wrong?

Now this is something important... on the 4th of August cyclists with and without disabilities met at the Brandenburg Gate to advertise inclusion (disability rights) and to escort 2 riders, one of them riding a HP Scorpion plus, a segment of their charity ride to Rome where they will be received in audience by the pope. The music in this video was written and performed by one of the disabled riders called Sittin' Bull and I was kindly allowed to use it for this video.
Always remember: People with disabilities are just people to which the environment failed to adopt :)
