The Monte Igueldo beacon is a lighthouse that is situated in the neighbourhood of Igueldo in Guipúzcoa, San Sebastián in Kingdom of Spain.
In the 16th century there was already a lucent mark in this place to indicate to the navigators the seashore and deflect potential shipwrecks. During the War of Independence the lighthouse kept off, and it was the Duke of Wellington who arranged its reconstruction. The British legion was placed in it and fortified it with shanks, merely during the Carlist War the pharos was once more destroyed.
