These men are near and dear to my heart.  Heroes, one and all.  So glad they were able to go see THEIR museum.  Thank you, Gary Sinise, for your continued efforts to support our veterans.

This will be the first time I will be part of the escort.  They have helicopters flying above the escort, too.  Should be great.

Thank you for your service, sir!
Even 73 years following what many would call heroic deeds, Charles Farmer still doesn't see himself as a war hero. He just considers himself fortunate to have survived.

It's our 117th birthday but you could be the one getting a gift. The KA-BAR Dog's Head Utility Knife, a blend of old and new, can be yours by simply sharing and commenting on this post. Now if you will excuse me I have some cake to eat.

Wonderful employees. Very helpful. John is excellent (ask for him!) Campground is nicely laid out with plenty of trees. They even had a movie night for the children Friday night outside on the basketball court. Did not get 5 stars because A) The bathhouse was a wreck. Old, very unclean and the men's toilet did not work correctly and, well, was gross. B) Any noise ordinances are not enforced. People playing basketball and shooting fireworks until nearly midnight. Otherwise, a good place to stay.
